Love practicing Corepower and the variety of classes offered - I've noticed some studios around town offer certain classes but not others, so it helps to be able to visit different studios if possible to get the most out of your money. HPF / Hot Power Fusion classes are my favorite since they are a blend of traditional bikram as well as power yoga, and C2 classes are a good challenge for intermediate level yogis.
Changing areas and locker room facilities have always been clean and well-maintained. However I noticed puddles of water on the floor of the studio area during my last practice at this location, possibly sweat puddles which is a little hazardous (and unhygienic). Classes are scheduled close together so it seems like there isn't much time for the studio space to air out or be properly cleaned between hot classes. This also means there is a rush to finish up before the next class comes in and the small women's changing room area becomes completely packed, which means waiting for others to finish up before you're able to access lockers and have adequate space to dress and maneuver around before leaving, annoying if in a rush.
Overall I do really enjoy Corepower and the classes offered, but prefer the other locations in central downtown. This one would be improved if it had a second studio space and a larger changing area, but I would still visit if the other locations aren't offering my favorite classes at times that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am kind of shocked by how many positive reviews there are for this CP. I am religious about CP and go nearly everyday. I have given this studio multiple chances and finally decided never againā¦.. I love Hot Yoga and HPF, neither at this location are remotely āhotā . I gave this feedback directly to the studio and was told the humidifier was broken, but now fixed. That is not true. You have been warned! I went to arguably the worst hot yoga class Iāve ever been to and that was the last straw. The sequence was wrong, the music was country rock popā¦.. I get that everyone has different music tastes, but country pop for a meditative hot yoga class? I looked at the temp. It was set to 95 and both doors were left open. Last, but certainly not least the instructor 100% did not want to be there. everyone has bad days and I have taken a few classes with this instructor and she has the same attitude every time. Save yourself the disappointment and go to the LoHI or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am a member of CorePower because I live down the street. I go to the Broadway studio and I want to like it SO bad but the classes are hit or miss, super corporate, and need quality control. Some teachers are amazing and some should not be teaching. The website says that their C2 class is "set to an energizing playlist and the sweat level is 2/3." I have been to many C2 classes where the heat is barely on and the music is turned down to an awkwardly low level. (The teacher of the last class I took, ended class 10 min early). I have reached out to their corporate office with no response and it's not possible to get in touch with the individual managers of each studio, so I don't think my concerns are being heard. I would much rather talk to someone in charge than leave a public review. I suggest paying attention to when a class has consistently low attendance... it is probably...
