I am very disappointed in the lack of response and customer service. I have sent multiple emails and sent a message through the website and not one person has responded to my concern. I attended a party for my cousin at your establishment on Friday 11/3. We had a party of 30+ people. This was the second year we have planned her birthday party at your Broadway location. We all had a great time for a majority of the night. The server was fabulous and food and drinks were great. One of our attendees brought cupcakes for the birthday girl. She came in and checked in with the hostess while carrying the cupcakes. They were in plain sight the entire time we were socializing, eating and drinking and not one staff member said a word about bringing in cupcakes being against “policy”. After everyone consumed the cupcakes your Bar Manager, Aaron Grala, insisted we pay a charge per cupcake insisting it is policy to charge a “cake fee”. He was very disrespectful, rude, condescending, ignorant and an embarrassment as a representative for your establishment. All he could do was repeat over and over that it is our responsibility to know you have this ambiguous policy and that we would be charged! Our issue was that if it was a problem someone could have easily told us that she couldn’t bring them in or that she needed to remove them and we would have happily followed the request. Your manager instead decided to escalate the situation beyond what was necessary. He demonstrated zero customer service skills. We clearly were a large party spending several hundred dollars at your restaurant. I myself manage a restaurant and I am completely appalled at how he handled the situation. I cannot imagine a business would be more concerned with a frivolous charge versus us staying there and continuing to eat and drink and spend money. Your customers cannot be expected to pay or abide by a policy that is not posted or communicated. According to Aaron, as customers it is our responsibility to just know this. Due to his behavior we chose to leave and not spend additional money. It does not make sense to charge a made up fee that is not posted or communicated. We will find a different location to hold our celebration next year.
My cousin was charged $50 which is ridiculous since it was HER party. I am really astounded at the lack of response from my previous emails to this hidden charge. I am requesting a...
Read moreOur experience at Punch Bowl Social was quite abysmal. There wasn't one bad thing that stood out, it was just all across the board a poor experience.
4 of us went on a Tuesday night to bowl and have dinner and drinks, and bowling was $25 PER PERSON, PER HOUR... On a Tuesday night!? $100 for 4 people to bowl for an hour is insane. Not to mention, the full-sized bowling lanes have ropes attached to the pins (not even normal bowling) which snatch the pins up way too fast, robbing you of any slow/delayed pin-falls and the lanes and bowling areas weren't oiled at all. You can bowl at Pindustry for $20/hr regardless of how many people you have, with full-sized normal bowling lanes that are well oiled.
We also got food and drinks before and during bowling. Our servers came by sporadically, often having to wave them down to have an order taken. When we moved from our tables to the bowling lanes, there were no menus or QR codes to scan to see the menu again. Our waitress came by twice in an hour... we had to go to the bar to order drinks. The food and drinks were all slightly over-priced, nothing out of the ordinary for Broadway, but they certainly did not stand up to the cost. The Fries were seriously over-salted (and $16) and 3 street tacos for $18 with lackluster flavor didn't help.
In short, go to Pindustry. The food is better and cheaper, the bowling and games are a MILLION times cheaper, well kept and high quality, the service is top-notch, and Pindustry just all-around has a lot more to offer for a better value. Not going back to PBS or recommending...
Read moreThis was a fly by the seat of our pants decision as we flew into Denver late, and wanted something different that you could get a drink and had a full restaurant. So we see this place and it has kind of a Dave & Busters vibe with plenty of off street parking so we decided to give it a try. It was a good choice Natasha was our waitress and she was great. She not only helped us pick what we had for dinner but suggested the specific sulpur springs resort we are headed to today in the mountains. Drinks were excellent and they had several holiday themed ones. Food was great. We had chili cheese fries with bison chili thick and robust but not too spicy. Fresh queso fresh crème fresh very thinly sliced jalapeño and the fries were on point. We got chicken waffles pretty standard the only point to bring up is the syrup had a whiskey Smokey taste to it. Not bad but worth knowing in case it’s not your thing. Had a patty melt that was really good and came with an amazing thousand island dressing on the side. My only suggestion is to move the dining table that is close to the see how hard you can punch machine away from said machine. Nothing crazy if it’s just a couple of people but this place has booking of big parties. What if all the people wanted to punch the punching machine. The people eating at that table would be surrounded. O! Plus there was a great little birthday cake since it was one of our birthdays. 10/10 would recommend and they have a...
