Got a battery and port replaced in an iPhone, all seemed well and the dude was nice. He mentioned something about aftermarket parts, but made it seem like no big deal. A couple weeks later, the charge capacity is worse than when I brought it in the first time. This time I take it to Geek Squad, who replaces the battery and port again and call me back very angry at whoever replaced it last. The technician sends me this, along with the attached photos:

"I would like to share you two pictures of the work done by the non-authorized repair person."

"The repair person forgot to remove the plastic tab from the fake iPhone battery which may potentially be a fire hazard. The "scratches" on the top right are supposed to be smooth. This means the person was impatient and just "yanked" the original battery using some kind of spuger and scratches the logic board (where the brain is) during the rapid removal."

"Picture below shows the non-authorized repair person used a permanent glue on the fake battery that damages 45% of your wireless charging mylar. I repaired your iPhone as best as I could and surprisingly the wireless charging still works! The biggest concern is the corrosion signs - that means the logic board may have also some corrosion...so do not be surprised if this iPhone starts acting up in the future. The only "fix" for corroded logic board is a new iPhone."

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is worth the time to read... They were nice enough at first. I was having my, now with a slight curved shape, iPhone back glass replaced. I did some paperwork and waited for it to be done. He basically super glued it on. As long as it works and stays glued then awesome I thought. I’m going to trade it in anyways. Later that night, I noticed the glue was slightly coming up in one of the corners. I did what anyone else would do and tried to press it down. Then it cracked. I contacted them the next day to have them tell me they will not fix the back because cracks are not part of their warrantee. They will only fix the glue... Even I can do that. I asked repeatedly for 2 days, either please fix it as the crack happened because of their poor work and glue coming up- or refund my money. They refused. I kept with the same point (a valid point) and they started laughing at me and mocking me over email. Then they really stepped out of bounds by pulling up my Facebook picture and said “do you not feel shame when you look in mirror” HOW DARE THEM. And no, I do not feel shame for trying to right a wrong. They acted unprofessional, immaturely and not good business owners. I would NEVER go here again, nor would I recommend anyone else to go here. It’s not worth it! Save the headache and money and go...

I came here to get the back glass of my phone replaced because it has so many good reviews. He was so nice upon arrival but when I picked up my phone after the job was complete, the front screen of my phone now has damage that it did not before leaving it with this man for an hour. I didn’t even leave the building before noticing and immediately after I pointed it out to him, he got mean and aggressive and raised his voice at me. He refused to admit or even entertain the idea that he could have damaged the screen of my phone while working on the back even though the damage was not there an hour prior when I left my phone with him. He tried to get me to PAY him to replace the front screen even though he caused the damage. It felt like a scam, like he had done it on purpose to make me spend more money. The damage caused while replacing the back glass is one thing, accidents happen, but there is also scratches along the sides of my phone from him working on it as well as bits of glue sticking out of the sides. I can also see air bubbles in the back of my phone! Not a very well done job all around. Not the mention the immediate switch it attitude and demeanor towards me was alarming and scary.
