I ordered through the Sonic app for pick up at 6:45. The app wouldn't let me check in at a stall, so I went to the drive up. It was a weird interaction, but whatever. I pulled up to the window and waited; at about 6:55 they acknowledged me. The weird interaction continued but we were getting our food, so whatever. Now, I have allergies and dietary restrictions; so I check my orders before I leave. THIS DUDE slams open the pick up window and YELLS "Do you open your DoorDash??" I was startled by this and replied "Um, what?" ... He again, now pointing at MY food, YELLS "That DoorDash, why are you opening it?" As I'm realizing his terrible assumption was the reason for ALL of the weird interactions up to this point, I inform him of my name, the name on the order, which FOR ME and my daughter who was in the passenger seat, and that I check my food for accuracy. THIS GUY "Well, is it OK??" Being a bit startled, again, I told him I hadn't really had a chance to look yet. And I pulled away flustered. Thankfully it was accurate. Not great quality (see photo of chicken not-so-tenders) but the specific requests were correct. But seriously, they weren't even busy!! I was the ONLY car in the drive thru. Is their online ordering system so bad that they can't tell if it's a direct order or a DoorDash? Or was this complete incompetence? Needless to say, we're never going back to that location. Lack of staffing has nothing to do with how this man spoke to me.

Last few times had unpleasant experience at S. Sheridan location. Carhop works very hard, but last night everyone else was major lacking. Went for half-price Slushies ~ they were out of Slushies! As female employee took my order, I noted on screen a charge of $11.98 that should have been $4.78... she finally corrected. After a 30-minute wait, hamburgers and fries were not even warm, and the burger was missing ketchup and mustard; the boneless Honey BBQ Wings was only item we received hot. I had parked close to save carhop some steps. All (but the carhop) made sure my kids and I had a terrible visit. My intention was a special treat for my kids and I. Instead I threw a hard-to-earn $25.08 (+ $5 tip) down the drain/out the window/in the trash. I'm so depressed by this.

I placed an online order I ordered 4 items 2 shakes a slushy and a plain Sunday for my pups. It said ready in 5-7 min so I drove there and checked in through the app like your suppose too. I checked in to a stall and was waiting, after sitting there waiting for over 25min I finally pushed the button for assistance and a woman said in a rude tone drive thru orders only, when I went to speak and let her know I had placed an online order she rudely interrupted me and said drive thru orders only. So I went to go sit in the long a** line just to be greeted by an unmotivated rude young girl at the speaker. I let her know I had place an order and had been waiting for a long time she just said drive up to the window. As I was waiting inline to reach the window I can see the 2 young girls inside the one with the head set had an attitude and was just walking in and out of the door while taking orders instead of helping the young lady making the orders and taking payments. Once I got to the window the young girl seemed flustered and asked my name then rushed back to make my order. Once I got home 50 min later the order was wrong and the shakes were not blended it was just vanilla ice cream with chunks of Oreo and cookie dough. I am not one to complain but after giving them chance after chance and thinking the next experience will be better it’s just as bad if not worse then the last time. If I hadn’t already placed the order in my app I wouldn’t of waited. I even added a tip to thank them for thier hard work. These young employees need a strong leader to help them and show them how to do things right and to be polite even when they are...

I went through the drive thru my sister in law ordered some food when she was done ordering I asked for a cherry limeade separate. As she repeated the order back she had the limeade on the same order so I drove up to the window and told the little girl again and she didn't understand I had to tell her 3 different times then she came back and asked if I wanted the drink from my sister's order with my order when I clearly told her JUST the limeade. She finally got the orders right my sister in law paid and I gave the girl my card for the cherry limeade which she told me would be $2.15 I paid got my card back gave my sister her change. After several minutes of waiting WITH NO ONE in the parking lot but me she gives my sister her food and walks away, her and 2 others sat there talking so I honk and she comes and asks me what I need so I ask her for my limeade and she proceeds to tell me I never ordered a limeade and that it wasn't paid for when I gave her my credit card for it! So what did she do with my card? Are you serious? And the manger on duty didn't do a thing he came to the window upset with me while the little girls throwing me bad looks and told me he'll give me the drink, it was like he was trying to get me out of the window by saying he'd give me a drink I already paid for. All that for a limeade and I will make sure nobody I know ever goes to this location. I work in fast food and I know what's expected and this was...
