Working with JK Diamond Co has been a dream come true!

I purchased my wife’s engagement from a jewelry retailer and while she loved the ring, she wanted the center stone to be dropped down as much as possible. We went to the retailer multiple times asking what could be done, and the response was always the same. “We can’t drop it any lower without redesigning the setting, and it will cost double what you purchased the setting for originally”.

We decided to leave it as it was, but we kept running into quality issues. Within 1 year, we brought the ring in for missing stones twice, and on the third time we said we want to replace the whole setting under warranty. They fought us tooth and nail saying that is is FINE jewelry and these things happen…My wife is no stranger to fine jewelry and takes very meticulous care of every piece she owns so we knew they were just blowing smoke at us.

When it came time to look for wedding bands, we said enough is enough, and decided to take our business elsewhere. This is when we found JK Diamond Co. My wife set up an appointment with Abe and we sat down for about an hour discussing what she wanted done differently while still keeping the overall look and feel of her engagement ring. Without even needing to create a 3D cad model for review before approving the rework, Abe and his team were able to make the engagement ring of her dream in just under 4 weeks! It matched every detail we asked for. It reused all the same stones, and came in at a third of the costs the retailer was quoting us.

At the same time, we ordered her wedding band so the two would sit flawlessly next to one another. Everyone who has seen the initial engagement ring compared to the modified one that JK Diamond Co fabricated have said how much more elegant it looks now.

I was blown away with how much lower they were able to bring the center stone, while also getting rid of all the gaps we used to see on the old ring. More importantly, the whole design is SO MUCH more secure. My wife and I have not worried about stones coming loose since the day we received the redesigned engagement ring!
