Build-A-Bear Workshop — Local services in Deptford Township

Was at Deptford Mall today after a long exausting Work day! Took my 3 yr old toddler and decided I would make her day and buy her a Trolls Poppy Build a bear... as soon as I approached the manager Tabitha she was rude and very agressive when I was asking her questions! I mean I was excited about getting this for my daughter this was my first time at build a bear and what a horrible experience!! It felt as if my money and interest in the product was not worth her time! She did not care about my purchase , I dont understand how they can position a rude person with no ethics or morals as a manager , she can obiously not handle Her Manager position well !! After I told her I was not making the purchase because of her uninterest and attitude she rudely replied okay fine with me! I definately recommend going else where!! I made my purchase at The Disney Store the lady working there was helpful , nice, and To this Tabitha girl at Deptford Build a Bear , if you cant handle customers and apparently it bothers you waiting on them, then maybe you should not work customer service , you are hired to help customers not to push them away , thanks to customers...

Took my extremely shy 2 year old Daughter here earlier today(Or technically yesterday now) to make a bear. We were greeted by Nicole and I still am amazed at just how patient and nice she was to my baby girl. She took the time to help her pick everything out and even recorded and re-recorded the custom voice box we wanted 5 times with a smile. She really took my daughters 1st experience with build a bear to the next level. Nicole is an absolute diamond for this company and build a bear should hire more exactly like her. The reason I gave 4 stars was all for Nicole and her patience. I didn't really like the fact that it's now a kiosk. It really takes away from the experience and is no longer a destination like it was when it was in the center of the mall in its own store space, but even still, Nicole made the trip for my daughter and I worth it. She hasn't put her pink Disney Princess bear down since...

My daughter had her 6th birthday party here in their new location, which was their 1st birthday party as a kiosk. It was absolutely amazing! The host Miss Marie (or Maria, birthday parties wash my brain of memories) was outstanding. I was slightly nervous that it was a kiosk location, but it was perfect. I scheduled it early in the day so that the mall was not bombarded, and since the kiosk is on the second floor near Sears, it was in an open, secluded location. I think I actually may prefer it to the storefront. I have always tried to go above and beyond for my daughter for her birthdays, and this host was the key to this party. It was unforgettable for everyone. My parent friends said she should be making 6 figures, the energy and vibe she gave everyone at the party was magical!
