So i just want to say that I have been visiting this salon on and off for about 5 years now and previously ive had a few bad experiences but every time i figured it could have just been my nail lady, let me try them again. So today i go in for my biweekly acrylic refill. I had an appointment and showed up 5 mins early and ended up waiting for over a half hour to get called back (this I understand happens, however it did add to this whole horrible experience). Right when i sit down the lady grabs her file and manically files all my nails as fast as she possibly can with no precision and complete carelessness. This kinda drew a red flag and I told her I would pay whatever it costs to get your nails filed and that I wanted to leave. She grabbed my hands telling me no and then questioned me until i confessed that she was just too rushed and I could come back on a less busy day. She then tells me that im her last client of the day and that theres no rush because she gets to go home after me (I later found out she was lying and that she had another client waiting for her as she was doing my nails). So I decide to stay. I tell her i want to keep my nails long and to only file them down a tiny bit. She asks me if the length was okay and it was. But then she continues filing them more and more and more until they’re extremely short and nubby. At this point she tells me she needs to get up because she has clients that need to get waxed. I just say okay because I didnt want to make her mad but she takes another 10 minutes to wax and ring them up which was slightly annoying. Then she comes back and finishes my nails and I rush out without really looking. Then when i get in my car i realize how bad they are. Not being a person to start problems i didnt really know how to handle the situation. So i go back in and ask to talk to a manager (his name was Andy he was super nice). I explain to him my problem and tell him i will pay for them to take them off i just need the nails off because i’m supposed to go out tonight and i’m kinda embarrassed. Then the lady who did my nails, comes up to tell me shes the owner. She begins to scream in my face in front of all the customers and tells me that my nails look good and demands that I show her picture proof that my nails are too short (whatever that means). She then grabs my hand and puts it in my face yelling that they look good and its what i wanted. At this point I was crying and the manager was trying to ask me how he can help but I couldnt talk to him because the owner would not stop yelling at me that my nails are fine. Overall, this is just no way to treat a customer and my experience here was so negative that I will not be going back. Your money is better spent elsewhere and I have never had major problems at Dolce nails in Washington Twp or even the Deluxe Nails in Mullica Hill and honestly you’re better trying off any nail place in the world before...
Read moreBefore the inside of the building was even finished, Andy saw me and asked me to come to this location after leaving the previous location. This was now his. Since then, I’ve been coming to this location. Andy has moved on and it’s now run by different people. Everything changed and not for the good. Pedicure products and procedures changed. People changed. Prices changed. But I thought let me check it out. Pedicure was horrible, don’t like the new products. You pay so much money and they don’t do half of what they use to. And it was rushed. That was a month ago. Two supposedly “gel” refills appointments later and it’s just not what it use to be. Today I got a gel refill. Asked for airbrush. And it just doesn’t look the way should. They don’t even use gel to go on top anymore. He explained it was the same thing. It definitely was not. I get up to the counter to pay and find out that the price went up. You would think that they would had said something before I got my nails done! To me, that’s being dishonest! $47 for a gel refill now that’s not even gel!! I have no idea what they’re using to put on top. Thank God for a five dollar coupon! Change is good, but not when it’s this drastic!! What a shame. And funny thing is prices went up right before Andy left and it hasn’t even been but what, 2 to 3 months!! And the price went up again and they’re not even using the same products!! They cut out product and charge you more!! Disappointed...
Read moreThis use to be one of my favorite places to get my nails done at but now. Not so much. There has been a couple of times that I’ve come and had to side eye a couple of staff. But today was over the moon. I asked the people at the front desk how much my nails would be. She gave me a price. I waited 45 mins with the repeatedly taking customers in front of me (white). I tried to pay it no mind. Hopefully 🤞 all four of those ladies had an appointment. 😒 Who knows. When they finally got to me the price had changed. I asked her why because the price that she gave me was never I price I paid for my nails and I’ve been coming here for many years. She it’s been that I told her it no way. She gets smart with me. The manager come over. I’m like Ms you just gave me a different price. She goes that’s for the gel. I said Ms I always get the gel and I’ve never paid $50 for my feet and $55 and for my nails. If yall the prices that cool but why and I paying $20 extra dollars for gel. That don’t make no sense. I’ve never done. The Asian lady beside here that talking shit in their native language.
