Taco Bell — Restaurant in Deptford Township

Why does Taco Bell have a website with a menu? Every time I look at their menu online to decide what I want, I go into the restaurant and I'm told, "we don't make that." Today, we went to the Taco Bell in Deptford, NJ on Route 41. We went to the website to see what we wanted to order. My wife decides on the Chili and Cheese Burrito and I wanted the Deluxe Cravings Box. When she gets to the counter, of course, she is told, "we don't make Chili and Cheese Burritos, and we don't make the Deluxe Cravings Box." Lucky for me, the guy making the food knew what goes in the Deluxe Cravings Box and make it for me. I was charged 50 cents more than the website price for some reason. My wife had to change her order. She now ordered a Soft Taco Supreme with Chicken, not beef and a Hard Taco Supreme with Chicken. Again, for some reason, she was upcharged 75 cents on each for chicken instead of beef. The employees were very friendly and tried to be as helpful as they could be. The food was okay. Nothing special. Rather skimpy. But that's the norm at Taco Bell over the last few years. My only issue was with my burrito, which had no ingredients until I was halfway through it. This is one of the reasons we stopped eating Taco Bell food a few years ago. So to some it up, if you have a craving for Taco Bell food, just remember it is made out of skimpy portions of garbage ingredients that will not be what is on the website and will be priced higher...

If you are a taco bell fan then its quite obvious that you've been to many of their various locations amongst your daily travels. Some locations may be good, others may be just okay, and then you get the ones like this location that set the gold standard for a reminder of why you became a Taco Bell fan in the first place. THIS location far exceeds others in not only their cleanliness, professionalism, and quality of food, especially during this pandemic. Their staff are polite and curtious while also being extremely efficiant and effective with your time and satisfaction as the customer. While some restaurants make you feel like you are the bad guy for some little mistake they made when all you want is just what you ordered. This store and their staff make sure you know they care about their service and to reassure you that they will do their best to not let that simple mistake happen again and also go that extra mile for you to make up for it. As a business owner and entrepreneur. This is the model for how I strive to run my companies while also working hard to keep my consumers happy. Its no simple task.. So thank you to my cashier Brandon B and the entire staff for making my experience so pleasant when 99% of the other fast food chains would have left me feeling frustrated and unappreciated for just wanting what I ordered. So get this. I ordered some delicious food and realized that I needed MOAR! So I came up with a crazy idea. I went up to the counter and asked the chick if she can customize things and make exactly what I want. She said, "yes." I looked around to make sure no one was within hearing distance and once I realized the coast was clear I told her, "Here's what I want to do. Build me two soft taco supremes but I want both beef AND steak on them....." Her eyes got wide with excitement. She said, "I like where this is going!" I continued.... "Then add extra tomatoes and extra cheese!" She said, "Oh my God! Are you SERIOUS?!?!?" I answered, "You're damned right I am!" She seemed nervous and flustered. She said, "I might need permission from corporate to even attempt such a feat." and she started reaching for the phone. I quickly intercepted her hand and stopped her. I looked deep into her eyes and said, "Live life on the edge baby and just do it!" She cautiously entered the order into the computer and took my name. When she entered my name she looked at me and gave me a wink. IT WORKED! The computer took the custom order without overheating or blowing up! I was amazed at how quickly my custom order was ready. Then I ate them and they were TOTALLY RAD!!! I will come back...
