I walked into the Deptford, NJ store 1 hour before closing on the night of 12/20/22 looking for something I saw online that said it was in stock. Looked around for about 15 minutes on my own since I couldn't find anyone who worked there. Finally went to the front register and asked a girl if they had this product and she called another staff member (I believe was the store Manager on Duty) who said they might be in a certain aisle or on the wall - she was going to check the wall and I went to the aisle even though I had already been to both places and couldn't find them. I went back up to the front of the store and asked the same girl if they found anything and she said they didn't have them in stock according to the lady who went looking for them. I pulled up the website and found the item online and a staff member just happened to be in the same aisle I was in and I asked him if they sold this item and he immediately and rudely said "we don't even sell those" so I showed him the item on the website and he told me that they close in 20 minutes and I said I've already been here for 40 minutes looking for it and he said "and you waited until now to finally ask someone". I was taken aback that I had to explain myself that I had already asked 2 other people and no one could find the item but the website shows that this store had them in stock and he told me that the website is only updated once a day in the morning and they probably sold out of it during the day and the website didn't update yet. He finally told me that he didn't really work in the store, that he was a framer - so that conversation was a total waste of my time. They made the announcement that the store was closing in 15 minutes so he walked toward his department and I just happened to be going in the same direction and I overheard him and the woman who I believe to be the Manager on Duty making fun of me. The framer pretended to be holding up a cell phone and he said "but it says you have it on the website" in a snarky tone and they both laughed. I stopped and made sure they saw me and they looked at each other in a panic. I just turned away a walked out of the store 4 minutes before closing time. As soon as the store opened the next morning I went on-line and placed a pick up order for the item and got a text less than an hour later that my items were ready. So they had them all along, but nobody wanted to take the time to find them for me. What an unprofessional, insensitive...
Read moreI don't usually write reviews but I'm extremely disappointed in Michael's in Deptford's Employees. They had an online sale of 60% off, only 50% in store. I was buying THREE cart loads of items. I had everything I wanted in the carts. To save myself an extra 10%, I paid for my items online that had the additional discount. I even sorted those items into a separate cart. When I explained what I did to the manager Dawn she was obviously very annoyed with me. I saved her the time of having to pick my order! What was she so agitated about? She also commented to me "you know your order isn't going to be ready for you to take home immediately, right?" I didn't mind coming back for it. I was in no rush. She seemed irritated that didn't bother me. Then, I had two other carts of items I needed to pay for. The cashier Sierra was rude and basically throwing my items to the side. I asked her if I could purchase two bags bc I had a lot of stuff. She handed them to me and continued ringing my items up and tossing them aside instead of putting them in the bag. Which, in turn, took longer bc I had to bag them myself when she could have put the items in the bag as she was ringing them up. Laziness. There was a customer standing behind me waiting to check out with a few items. They let her just stand there for a long while before directing her to another register (there were 3 registers open the whole time) and I CLEARLY had a lot of items. They were acting like my two carts of items that were being rung up were an inconvenience, holding up the line, and in the way. Additionally, there was one item that said was out of stock online but I found one in the store. I asked Dawn if they could price adjust that one item to include the extra 10% off bc I wasnt able to purchase it online. She said no, that was only for online purchases. So I either had to pick it up from another store or pay the in store price. My purchase total was $600!!! She wouldn't price adjust that ONE item for me even though they had it in the store but online said it was out of stock. Unbelievable. I will not be returning to that specific Michael's again. I shop there for my business A LOT. Not anymore. I am astounded at the rudeness I experienced today because...um, I was buying too many things??? I'll take my business elsewhere if...

I called initially on a Sunday to see if their store was open the lady who answered the phone told me no we’re not open , I said oh your closed, but your website is saying curbside pick up. She goes well curbside pick up is available well then you are open. I placed my order for curbside pick up on Sunday I got a confirmation of my order when I went there to go pick it up and called while I was outside I was informed there’s 400 people in front of you it’s delayed you’re gonna have to wait 36 hours. Waited 36 hours still did not receive items areReady to be picked up. I looked on the site put in my tracking number on my order number and it told me items available to be picked up I called to let them know my husband will be picking up . Was advised you don’t need to give us that they hung up on me husband picked up or order and items are missing numerous items with no indication of why or when these items would be filled. When I called to speak with somebody regarding this matter I was told well those items are circled is zero so we didn’t have them in stock and people are understanding about this issues , when I asked to speak to a supervisor AJ and Pacific answer the phone AJ should not have a job! AJ proceeded to cut me off tell me that he’s had this happen to numerous customers so I guess this is how their store runs their business and told me his customers are understanding and I said I am understanding but there was no explanation when I asked for the store ID number and a supervisor he hung up on me how is this...
