So I used to work at this location a few years ago but I was a customer long before and after I had a job here. Great food, depending on the day the music can be good to meh (if you're expecting classic rock you might be surprised to hear some pop or new age music blaring overhead instead depending on who's working), and pretty okay milkshakes (I’ve had them from time to time and I don't know if they're worth five bucks but they're decent). I’ve not had a subpar experience interacting with any of the staff, they always act professional and are all efficacious. The only problem I’ve encountered lately is that there must be a new kid on the fries because they have been over-salted like you wouldn't believe recently. This place is a five star joint and the only reason I rated four stars is because of the over-salting situation. I know full well that some patrons come solely for the fries and for a place that only sells burgers, fries, and shakes, the fries should be nothing shy of tremendous each time. Best thing to do if you're worried about over-salted fries is to request no salt when you order and apply your own at the table/home. Also, surely it goes without saying, the kids working there do greatly appreciate tips, especially on a busy day or during a rush, so if you can spare it chuck in a sheckle...
Read moreYou ever go to a place with high hopes and then struggle with the idea of writing the review because you know they've done better. I've been to many five guys, this was a let down. I walked in and had one person place the order in front of me, no one else in the building. There were 9 red shirts and 2 black shirt employees. I'm assuming preps vs managers. On a Saturday, 403pm my order was placed and I didn't walk out till 414. That seems like a long time for a small cheeseburger, small cajun fries with a drink.
Second gripe, their soda wasn't working, why not tell me before I bought a soda? No biggie I like tea, I'm not going to complain about it. The vendor was there working on the one machine, but I didn't put two and two together.
11 minutes for food is a long wait for what five guys normally is and if it is going to take awhile, it better be right. The fries were soggy in oil and brown, almost burnt. I can't state how much I love 5 guys fries, but these, I wouldn't come back for. I actually threw most of them out.
I'll be back but no...
Read moreI think they're overpriced!!! I mean REALLY overpriced!!! My burger was drowned in Mayo and ketchup!!! We asked for peppers but they weren't on there ... The fries were excellent though. When I went for the coke it just ran bubbly water ... I told the girl at the register and she said they'd have it taken care of ... Place was REALLY crowded as it was lunchtime but took forever for them to fill it!!!! We were halfway done our burgers before it was filled ... But I'm a coke girl so I jumped up and emptied my cup to get my coke!!! I've only had 5 guys once before and that was a lot of years ago ... Forgot how pricey they were!!! We both ordered the Jr burger ... 1 fry and 1 coke and came out to close to 30 bucks!!! Half that could've had McDonald's!!!! And I think McDonald's quarter pounder is way better!!! Not to mention bigger than their...
