Historically I have had pleasant experiences in this Sephora - mostly along the lines of helpful and knowledgable employees, stocked products, nice samples, etc. - but tonight was a step above.
Helen was the most patient, thoughtful, and inquisitive employee I’ve ever met.
My sister and I went in to restock on some essentials, and Helen took the time to ask us about our routines, our usual products, our skin types, and what we wanted to improve on. She asked us about US. How awesome!
She had strong recommendations for every category of skincare we discussed, was NEVER pushy about us buying any of them, and helped us to swatch close to a dozen lip stains. She walked us through how and when to use new products, and gave us tips on how to make them work better for our individual needs.
She was funny, knowledgable, and personable. She knew her science and had some great information for us.
I wish everyone was like Helen! She made us feel heard and empowered. She answered all of our questions, never making us feel rushed or silly. Sometimes it’s scary trying a new acid peel!! But she was very supportive and thorough on products we haven’t previously had the confidence to try.
I just finished testing the various products we picked up, and I feel so much more confident about how my face will look and feel in the morning.

Read moreJCP Sephora is way better then the MAIN Sephora in Deptford Mall. I’m new to the Sephora game 2018! I spoiled my self online for Xmas and went to the main Sephora for the first time. No one greets me nor looks at me. I’m eager to speak with someone and they were running away. They were so snooty! I also spend money in the JCP Sephora because they also have the sale section. I’m a customer service specialist and would never treat people the way they do. We are allowed three samples and when you ask for them it’s like your interrupting their Instagram or Facebook Time not to mention all the gossip. I would love to work for this company and work behind the name with the most enthusiastic customer service expectations. I love Sephora. I was very disappointed with the employees. I also asked for help for a smokey eye and she wouldn’t help. She seemed like she was too busy and she wasn’t even doing anything but playing with her make up. Listen I would be greatful to have her job and for her to treat people like that is undeserving. I wish she would of sat with me and helped me with my smokey eye. She refused. I am a dedicated customer with no appreciation from Deptford Sephora. JCP Sephora is way better! They are helpful even when Busy. Jcp Sephora has higher standards...

I clearly did ,I am a make up artist and Skin care therapist so I’m pretty well educated on beauty products I felt like she was not listening she was very rude I also had my two-year-old daughter with me who was being a little pain in the butt at the time she was giving her dirty looks and saying rude things to her To me she snapped at me and said don’t let her break that and that’s all she was doing was holding the product which was a rubber tube by the way and then !!when she tried to sell me something which was very small and not what I asked for and the price was outrageous I declined and she rolled her eyes and said of course!!!!! I walked straight to the Sephora that was located in the mall a young gentleman help me find what I was looking for in the first shot made a sale and also when he was testing out all my skin he let my daughter help and play he was very patient and nice itment alot he was nice he was nice to my daughter He was amazing so sad I didn’t...
