The place itself is good to shop but however there machine for the credit card does work because it keeps on declining the credit card every time and we had to use our bank card and for the employee to say that our credit card has expired which is a total lie where everywhere else that we shopped at in the mall our credit card works perfectly fine it’s just there machine that needs maintenance so it can be fixed and worked properly. And btw earlier today these two women that I try to say hi to them and one of them back away and looked at me like I was a weirdo when all I tried to do is introduce myself to them since that’s basically what I do nowadays to try to get to know them or anyone to help me out with socializing in general and that alone really upsets me really bad because what I did was basically innocent and I’m just trying to be friendly and respectful but at the same time I’m just getting really sick of tired of it of getting treated like I’m some kind of villain or something and I’m just done with everything and everybody anymore tbh. It’s like one wrong move and it’s over for me it’s just stupid in my opinion. And btw it was basically the woman with the black beanie on her head with orange red hair and she was white and wearing all black shirt or hoodie and black pants a beautiful woman but idk her name but I’m not trying to get her in trouble or anything it’s just I felt disrespected when she did that type of stuff and she is very beautiful and all but once she did that along with the credit card machine wasn’t working properly I’m pretty much not sure if I should even think of coming back there ever again to shop after all that. Since it’s just gonna be pointless and a waste of time and money whenever something like that happens to me or...
Read moreWell, Deptford Hot Topic marks my 38th location visit... definitely one of my favorites. I’ve visted this store twice in the past 2 weeks, based solely on the customer service. Super friendly staff, who love chatting up with you and genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs - which I can tell you from working for the company’s is a rare find. They’ve got the pretty standard selection that you’d expect at Hot Topic plus some things I haven’t found in other locations. Things are pricey but such is hot topic, the upside is, they have good in store deals and accept coupons. Their loyalty program is also a big help if you’re looking to save - I typically have a $5 reward to put towards my purchase every time I shop, but then again I spend a lot ALMOST every time I go. My only beef with this location is how unkempt it is, the T-shirt rounders that hold clearance shirts, and hoodies are a little hard to shop because they’re just so jam packed. Now I know that’s not the stores fault, but it kinda makes the company look like they aren’t doint so great when they have soooo much clearanced out. It’s quite busy in this store - a little hard to move around, but the upside is that people who shop Hot Topic are mostly friendly and won’t stand right in your way if they see you’re trying to navigate through the aisles. Overall I’m giving this store a 5 Star - the pros outweigh the cons, and for that it’s definitely worth the...
Read moreI went to this store to pick up an order I purchased online. They were attempting to close the shop 20 minutes early even though they had about 6 costumers standing outside waiting. I completely understand closing early so you can clean the store, restock the shelves, etc but I was just there to pick up a shirt I ordered online and did not plan on buying anything else. When I explained this to the associate she got really nasty and seemed annoyed that I was asking for my purchase. She did not check my email or ID to confirm it was me all I told her was that I placed an order online and that seemed to be good enough confirmation for her. As I was walking away I watched her turn away 3 boys and than allow the other 2 costumers behind them in. Just doesn't seem far to me to allow certain people in...
