La Cantina, which is the main purpose of coming here, was perfect! I left a detailed review on their Google page!
Creations was pretty nice too. I will also leave a detailed review on their Google page.
Both restaurants displayed proper customer service and the food/desserts were delicious.
The interaction with a Briarcrest Shopping Village Square bathroom attendant/janitor, was rather disappointing. Upon entering the building, I saw a vacuum outside and an older gentleman coming out of the men's restroom. It was obvious that he was an employee. I asked him if the restrooms were closed, to which he replied "yes". Then I asked if the women's restroom is open, and he asked me "Where are you from? Are you from Briarwood?" Which I responded, "yes, I just left the restaurants". He then said "ok", and was about to head back into the men's restroom to finish cleaning when I asked him for the pass code to the key pad on the locked restroom. He obliged and I went on my way.
A few things...
*Why was I questioned as if I didn't belong. I am clean and presentable. I wonder what could have been the reason that he looked at me and treated me as if I wasn't supposed to be there.
*Why'd he lie and say the restroom was closed when it clearly wasnt.
I won't assume what he meant by his discriminatory behavior, but I will say that it was rather disheartening.
This happened around 7 pm on...
Read moreGreat food. Not too highly priced. The staff deserve tips for cranking it out nonstop. Not the fanciest place around, but by no means the worst. Want take out on a busy night? Forget it. They will flat out tell you no, we have to focus our people on the customers who are eating there. I've been a customer for 15 years and it was a little hard to hear that. Maybe I understand a little bit, but I will stop going if it happens again. When my wife wants her chicken and risotto she wants it!!!. Great food though. The older staff don't treat me like that, but the younger ones do. You're still selling a dinner. What does it matter if I want take it home and eat it? The staff get tipped either way. I would recommend this restaurant if they' re not "too busy". You've been...
Read moreI dined with two female friends, and we had a reservation for 6 p.m. The parking lot was packed with only one spot available. Overall, I thought the food was delicious but a bit overpriced. I had Chicken Marsala which was served over risotto. Even a side salad or cup soup was an extra charge. Mixed drinks were mainly $11. We didn't get dessert. The waitress was very attentive and nice. Because the restaurant was full, it was very loud and hard to have a conversation even on a...
