Dollar General — Local services in Desloge

Very nice person working behind the desk. Prices are a bit higher than Walmart. But that's not the workers fault. There just doing there job. The store is very unorganized and very needing much help of cleaning but that again its not the workers fault because they don't hire enough people to actually allow the complete work that needs to be done to be done. One woman or man cannot do five different jobs. So since they have customers coming in pretty often they can't know where due to jobs at the same time so while they're checking out the people so they can get them out of the store so that people can get where they need to get going they can't be cleaning the store and organizing the items so in another words they got not enough people and too much work to happen again not the people's fault that's working there it's the Corporation that is in charge of Dollar General that should be getting off their lazy butt using money and paying people to do the job while the other people are able to do their job Dollar General is going up a lot in many places like 20 minutes apart this is a good thing but stop by in stores long enough to put some people to work so the Dollar generals won't be so cluttered. One major thing that I cannot stand that is involved in the store is when you get to the checkout you got to go around a large stupid maze to get to the checkout to pay for your items that makes it very cluttery for the people to be able to stand six feet apart it makes it very close for comfort and in the way there's not enough room in that store to have that kind of setup. So basically what I am saying hire some people pay them the right amount of money that can clean up the store and make it look good and let the other people that are doing the behind the desk checking out the paperwork versus stalking the shelves you don't have enough people for that hire some people clean up the organization of the store. Lower some prices. I honestly think that you ended go a better way and you would probably be a lot more of organized if you have a lot more people working for you and put some more items in there it wouldn't hurt to get some stores over here in Iron mountain Lake area. The worst store i gave ever visited. I had a full cart on January 11th, 2020 and the female and male that were working made comment everyone should be at home instead of shopping, they began yelling throughout the store 45 minutes before closing to make our way to front of store. At 30 minutes before closing they were coming to us personally there were an elderly lady with a younger woman and i for total of 2 carts. They were very unprofessional. I asked each of them for prices on a few items and the man said he didnt know and female stated no clue! I walked out and left cart sitting at 10 minutes before closing due to 3rd personal approach and a wave towards the front of store and the extremely rude and hateful way they treated the other woman due to her card not...

I'm editing my review because they got a new manager and workers in- and it's amazing. They're all friendly and the store is a lot better organized. The new manager did a complete reorganization and there's hardly ever a mess in there now- and when there is it's from customers digging through things and not putting them back. The staff fix it as soon as they can.

Even the random Dollar Aisle is kept stacked nicely.
