Destin Sea Shell Adventures — Attraction in Destin

This is a hard low rating for me to give. The staff was nice. The boat was nice. However, one of the ladies from the tour let slip that the sea shells were planted. They are not native shells. A fellow passenger made a comment to her about it being odd there were so many shells only in specific areas & she told him that she wouldn’t lie, they were placed. So I could’ve bought these shells at hobby lobby or anywhere. It tainted the experience. It went from a magical experience comparing who had the most unique shells to us donating the bag of shells to good will. We did get to see dolphins which was cool! Just wish we could’ve remained in blissful ignorance about the origin...

This is an AMAZING tour!! If u go on any go here! Ee were on the Kokomo II with captain Preston and Lauren and they made our trip, we got soo many seashells and great pics of dolphins. The captain is funny and personable and Lauren goes above and beyond to make sure everyone in ur group are comfortable and taken care of. A small note, they work on tips but there is no signage saying that, I think the company should add that at the booth and online so people are prepared to tip as it is greatly deserved.
