Sometimes you just gotta do things on a whim. Nothing here is necessarily geared to my personal interests, or that of my wife and niece. But I'm still glad we went and experienced 52TOYS together.
It's a comfortable and whimsical little shop that specializes in blind boxes. If my party of 3, with varying and sometimes opposing interests, could find a blind box that spoke to our personalities I'm sure most could do the same. You just have to be willing to give it a shot.

Maybe you should play some music like Young Thug or Gunna (joking)" and he ignores me. Then when my son and I left I asked the question again and the EMPLOYEE said they just wanted peace and quiet. Background music sets the ambiance of an establishment and even if played at low volume helps your customers feel welcome... Buddy did not make my son and I feel welcome at all... almost like we were bothering him from doom scrolling on IG. My 7 year old wanted to buy something but I'll never step foot in or spend money...
Read moreGlad they’re finally open! They had a booth at lunar new year celebration several months ago, so I’ve been waiting to see an opening date. It’s upstairs where Tiger Sugar is too; the stairs are next to the Hmart exit. The space is small, but they have a good selection of collectibles/figurines. The blind boxes are fun. You can see the potential ones you might get on the box, but you won’t know which one it is before opening.
The Disney ones I saw were impressive; they looked like porcelain figures in the display. Most of them are in the $15 range. I went to a different Japanese store and similar ones...
