If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This salon also provides Japanese gel nail services, which I was very excited to try. I walked in and they told me I had to call them to make an appointment, which I had no issues with. So I made my appointment for a Sunday 10AM (which I assumed was fine since they offered said time and date) and by the time I got there for my appointment, I’m waiting for 20 mins, while being the ONLY customer there, until the receptionist lady finally told me she would call the person that would do my nails. Another 20 mins goes by and I ask the receptionist lady for an update and apparently I had “changed my appointment to Monday.” I never changed my appointment date/time and this is very unprofessional of them for being so disorganized. This is very upsetting not only because I made the appointment, I took the time to drive there, waited for 40 minutes and was told I had “changed my appointment date” but also because I was very excited to try Japanese gel nails for the first time ever. They have completely wasted my time. This kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable and I will never be...

tl;Dr They did a mostly nice job if this was the haircut I actually asked for. It wasn't.

Pros: Shampoo service was nice. The stylists were friendly. Everyone wore masks. They accepted me as a walk-in with a short wait.

Cons: They sat me on a chair that another patron just vacated. There was hair on the floor and the seat was still warm. I showed a reference picture, verifying with the stylist that I only want about an inch off the longest layers. By the time I realized it was too short, the haircut was already underway so it's not like it could've been remedied with longer hair. I went from almost waist-length hair to just below my shoulders! And then my hair was thinned, which I didn't ask for. Perhaps it was to improve the too short hair. I mentioned it was too short during checkout, but both women just kept telling me it looked nice. To add insult to injury, I get charged extra for long hair on a haircut I didn't ask for. Lastly, I still had cut pieces of hair all over my face when I got to my car. As others mentioned, if it were possible to give a 0 star, I would. I have been here more than once spaced out over multiple months. Every single time has been the worst hair cut I have ever had in my life—even my mom’s haircuts when I was 10 were better.

The core problem is that the stylist does not even take the time to listen to what you want. I called ahead to make sure I could get an appointment because I knew I needed a perm to achieve the hairstyle I was interested in. During the appointment call, they made no effort to ask me what I needed. When I arrived at the appointment, I showed the picture I was interested in. Instead of taking the necessary steps, the stylist went straight into cutting, butchering my hair in the process. When I stated that I was unhappy, he blamed me and made no attempt to fix it apart from hair gel.
