Very head weight owner and a lazy, lying butcher!!! Even when we specifically asked for Goat Leg, the butcher cuts goat body also as goat leg and when asked about it, he don't care to answer in a responsible way, carelessly says it is only little bit mixed (and later he denied it when the owner asked.. Such a lier!!!.). When the owner was informed about it, he never listens to customer and argues that the butcher knows what to cut , and says he never mixes like that. And he bills the whole meat at the rate goat leg price. The owner doesn't respect the customer version of argument, and denies saying that the 'butcher is right and you are wrong'. And calls the customer as rude if we argue on that. Never seen a shop owner with such a head weight!!! First he should learn to listen and respect the customer before doing business. The butcher is so lazy to weigh the meat after it was cut, even asked for 4-5 times also he won't weight the meat to split it equally, he will do approximation. In the contrary of what Rk RK said, I found the butcher (I am sorry I forgot to ask his name) very patient and efficient. I bought beef and two large fish. The butcher keeps his work place clean. I politely asked him if he care to not include all the bones and he did. I did not ask him to organise the 25+ pound meats in separate small bags but he did divide those in 6 or 7 bags. So nice of him! Yes, the butcher did not measure all small portion of my total order equally, who needs to do that and who would do that for you! My fishes were cut very nicely and even more nicely was packed into 10-12 pieces small packet with mixture of meats from neck and belly (gada and pety) of the fish. Fish head was also cut into several pieces and kept in a separate packet. I did not expect these from the butcher and I can not ask more. Thank you very much. We cooked the ruhi fish next day, it was fresh. I expect the Mrigel will be fresh too. The owner at the counter gave me small discount to round off to $250 total instead of ~ $254. One of the worst experience coming to this place! The store itself is clean. However the behavior is extremely condescending. I am a Bangaldeshi and this place is owned by Bangladeshi. Still my experience coming here was extremely rough. There are people working at the meat section who doesnt understand either English or Bagla properly. I took around 30 lbs of meat of different kinds. It was really hard to make the guys understand what I want. The cherry on top was they were even irritated at me becuase I was not being able to make them understand!
