Shaking Crawfish — Restaurant in Doraville

First time here. Located on Buford highway in doraville Georgia. I've always seen this place and wondered what it was and now that I've been I want to go back. Very nice, very clean, the workers were very friendly in the bathrooms were clean. All the tables are covered in paper, there's a roll of paper towels on your table along with a fork a bib and scissors. They give you a bucket with a plastic bag in it for trash. Your food comes out in a bag but also in a metal plate just in case of spillage. We went around 4:00 p.m. and the place was absolutely empty, but it was kind of romantic. All the workers wore masks. Only saw two to three people working in the building. One young lady was at the door greeting people and seating them, the other young lady worked behind the bar and was the waitress, and then there was another young lady we saw come out of the kitchen.

You can make your own bag as big or as small as you want. They have a lot of different flavors and you can even mix them all up make them as mild or as spicy that you would like or no spice at all. When the food came out it was absolutely hot. There was no mistaking that it had just been cooked. It stayed hot for a very long time. Very surprised. The food was very good, and the seasoning was just right. There was a good selection of music playing, the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing, and they even had several TVs on for viewing.

There's a lot of space for strollers or high chairs, I didn't see any high chairs but that doesn't mean that they don't have them. Instead of chairs they use wooden stools. They look to be like just round blocks of wood. It was different. I didn't see too many ramps because most of the seating is on the ground. There was plenty of parking and a few handicap spots.

Next door is a sushi restaurant so the parking lot on that side is connected. The building is round but when you get inside it's c-shaped. Lots of windows and it was very cold in there but perfect since it was so hot outside. You can pre-order your food and come in and pick it up. They do have a QR code for that. These are the rudest people! I've eaten there a couple of times and ordered the "BC" sauce on snow crab legs. Was very good. I also bought extra sauce to take home... Small 8oz container about 3/4 full, for $5.00. I thought that was expensive, but since it was so good, it was worth it. Fast forward a couple of months... I stopped by to get some sauce to take home as my husband has cancer, and I didn't want to eat out and leave him alone. They told me the price had gone up, and I thought maybe 50 cents or so, but she said $6.00. I was shocked it had gone up a whole dollar, but since I drove all the way there, I thought I might as well get it. Well, when they brought it out, it was still in the 8oz container, but was only 1/3 full, and half of that was oil! I told her I could almost understand the price increase, but I would at least like to have as much as I had the last time. She argued that it was the correct amount for that price. I asked to speak to the manager. She stuck her head through the portal door to the kitchen and came back and said he told her that is the correct amount and he was not going to give me any more. I walked out the door, mad as you know what. When I got to my car I turned around and went back inside and got my money back and said I'd never darken their doors again. They did not care one bit that they were...

I was a regular customer up until today. My coworkers and I go at least once a week for lunch. Last week customer service was a bad experience, but I figured hey, maybe she had a bad day... So today we decide to go to celebrate a birthday. Us four were the only patrons there for a few minutes. After we put in our order, an older couple comes in an then orders their food. After about 20 min, the older couple gets their food, so we question how much longer our food was going to be, they said its coming out shortly and the other people got their food because it was fried food. After about another 25 minutes, I go up to the bar and ask for out food to go because we can NOT wait any longer for the food. The food was just sitting up at the counter (for who know how long) but by this time, our lunch hour was almost up. The waitress comes with our check and does NOT compensate for any of their shotcomings. I told her that we only get an hour lunch (she says she knows. How does she know?) The told me that all the UBER orders that were made, comes BEFORE the people actually sitting in the restaurant. It is ridiculous that we took almost an hour to wait for 2 lbs of crawfish and 1 all seafood bucket. By the time we left the establishment, there were only 3 groups of people, IT SHOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN THAT LONG. THEY DEFINITELY HAVE LOST...
