Good atmosphere & service. Certain food items are really good but some are average. My family n I went to try their new addition in the menu-card i.e. "Chaap n Luchi", "Haji'r Biriyani" & "Haleem n Naan" on last weekend. But they were already out of stock by 8:30 PM! Loved their approach — once it's finished, they declared it. That's how it should be, unlike some other restaurants where chef makeshifts the actual item & serves.
However, tried their Fuchka-shots — very flavorful & burst of spices in tongue. Perfect mixture of spiciness, tanginess & sweetness. A thoughtful trendy item in the menu undoubtedly.
Puri: Aloo puri was authentic in taste & crispy. Dahi Fuchka: Perhaps the best item in the house. Murri makhano: Spicy & full of flavor. Excellent snacks item but $4.99 was a little too pricy for puffed rice! My suggestion would be $2.99-3.49. Chotpoti: Good! Malai cha n porra ruti combo: That cha was "Beyond my expectation." Porra ruti- is actually just porra sweet bun! Kids'snack: 2 hungry kids couldn't finish one serving. That tells the story. Kolija'r shingaara: OKAY! but scope to improve a lot. The upper crust was too thick & after going inside mouth, was sticking in the mouth & teeth. This was my 3rd time n probably the last time to try any kinda...
Read moreUpon walking in the sister at the front was very attentive and professional. She explained the menu since the last time we came the restaurant was named Ali& 1.
Many of the dishes were not available yet. We ordered the beef biryani, which they later said was not available. In replacement they gave Peshwari beef (which we already ordered).
All food was served in paper/styrofoam/ plastic. For the $$ they are charging they should have decent serving plates. We ordered the fuchka which was okay, nothing extraordinary. The daal puri was good but not enough daal inside. The beef samosas were fresh and the meat was flavored well but there was no dipping sauce, which would’ve been nice to eat with. We also ordered wings, lemon pepper and hot honey. Lemon pepper was super dry and lacked flavor. Hot honey was saucy and tasteful. The peshwari beef was a huge disappointment. They charged $13.99 for 3 pieces of meat, 3 big bones, and one potato, and the gravy was oily and the dish overall lacked flavor. The only good part of the meal was the malai tea.
The whole experience was simply lackluster. Wouldn’t recommend. The food was overpriced and not worth it for us. Really wanted to like this place but just didn’t...
Read moreI just picked up from here like about 30 minutes ago and the kind gentlemen asked me for my input, well sir I want to shake your hand and tell you the food was beyond excellent. I have never written a review this quickly but I had to let you guys know the Fried chicken was juicy and seasoned great I got the mild one this time, next time I want to try their Naga 🔥 hot, I also got the three cheese Mac n Cheese out of this world it was super cheesy, creamy and and a hint of garlic, probably top 5 Mac n Cheese I ever had in my life. I got the hot honey wings next they are good medium sized wings and they were fried crispy pretty solid wings the sauce was good I have to try the other flavors next time might try Naga wings as well. Last but not least I got the cornbread it was nice and sweet and had moisture wasn't too dry and had a little honey sauce on top of the cornbread nice little sweetness added to every bite. For my people who only eat halal definitely come try it out I vouch for them whole heartedly. Keep it up Ali and keep making this same food consistently I promise there will be a line out the door soon when people...
