DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I have never been so disrespected in my life by an establishment where I paid to shop. I purchased around $200 worth of merchandise from Moon's Jewelry a few weeks ago. The quality of a few of the items did not meet the standards that I offer to my customers. One in which was a set of stretch bracelets that popped while my customer attempted to place it on. I contacted Moon (the owner) and she was very understanding and told me that I could bring back any of the items that were not open for a full refund, but she could not give me credit for the one that was broke. That was pretty fair so I agreed to return the merchandise. I was in the store all of 2 mins before one of the associates harassed me for my small black shopping bag with the items I was planning on returning. I would also like to note that this was the same associate who was pretty rude when I asked for help the week before. She didn't warm up to me until she realized I was buying all of the items on the counter. She asked me for my bag and I told her I was returning the items. She immediately gave me attitude. I ignored her as I remember how unfriendly she was before and told her with confidence that I had already spoken with Moon. She called Moon to the front and all hell broke loose. Moon came out waving her arm, yelling and at one point she brushed against me as to move me out the way. I was in complete shock, I tried to remain calm as I asked her "did you just push me"?. She continued fussing and yelling about the return. I calmly asked her what was the problem, and reminded her that we spoke on the phone regarding this matter. She replied "YOU...YOU are the problem. Nobody ever returned but YOU". At this point, I'd had enough. I could not wrap my mind around why a vendor would think it was appropriate to yell and scold a grown paying customer. I demanded the refund that she previously agreed to. I should mention that the refund was only for $60-$65 and I had $50 worth of new merchandise in my hand to purchase. There were 3 other ladies shopping at the time who all witnessed this exchange. One of the young ladies ask me was I okay and said she didn't feel comfortable purchasing from Moon based on how she was treating me. I agreed shaking my head in disbelief. As I was speaking to the young lady Moon struck again being belligerent and telling me to get out of her store. The young lady could see that I was getting very upset and rushed over to ensure that I was okay. I told Moon that I was sick and tired of people coming in our communities making millions of dollars off of us and treating us poorly. I tried to speak with Patty, (Moon's daughter) who eventually handled the return. As I was showing her the photos of how tight the bracelets were, and a pic of the broken merchandise Moon continued yelling at me and demanding that I leave the store. I left the store and sat in my car to gather my thoughts. I went through a plethora of emotions. I was shaking, I was hurt, I was angry. The three women that were in the store shopping exited shortly after me without one bag in their hands. In that very moment I felt proud because they stuck with me like sisters and had my back. I would like to thank each one of them, complete strangers but the sisterhood and support was real. As an extra bonus for my review I've attached the return policy from their website which operates under...
Read moreI had some free time on a beautiful Saturday morning. It was on the way A costume jewelry shop. I was very eager to check out what they may have had, and upon entering and greeting who I believe is the owner she immediately had a very disrespectful and dismissive tone, not letting me finish my statement and telling me that I can’t be here without a license. She did not ask me if I had a license which I do, but it was very clear that she did not want me in her store. As an educator who works just less than 2 miles from this community the business leaves a bat taste in my mouth And as a result, I will be communicating to the entire Dekalb County school district and Gwinnett County school district to disassociate And relay business elsewhere due to the shop owners, either racism or stereotyping and not being open curious or compassionate as an entrepreneur. This is why Asian business owners get such a bad rep and a lot of their shops unfortunately closed during Covid because of that. I hope that future business owners keep a sense of gratitude for the services and experiences that they want desired to want...
Read moreThis is really sad. I come in Moon Jewelry as I am a designer and supporter and have a showroom in the next building over. My brand Perfect Population is a luxury brand that I have worked with Oscar De La Renta and more so I know about quality and customer service. The sold me a defective hat which I didn’t know until I came home. It would been nice to say this hat is defective and all sales are final. I buy their accessories to sell in my store and for a photoshoot so what would I do with a defective hat. I just went to see if I could exchange and her exact words were “Yeah that’s why it was $3.50 and we don’t do exchanges.” It’s really the principal and you don’t value customers because this could have been an easy exchange. What is $3.50 vs a customer who comes and spends money in your business with no complaints but now I will no longer shop or support your business because I’m not even worth an...
