Late update for 2019: My 1st perm with Bryan was perfect, I even purchased his products which I enjoyed the mint scent in my hair. Yet, my 2nd perm did not go well my hair was straight in lots of areas in which I text him pictures, he seamed to have an attitude yet was willing to re-perm for free. After the re-perm my hair was perfect, yet he stated that he had used a more expensive perm solution in my hair, which I wasn't aware that he had used a cheaper solution for my 1st perm? He continuously speaks about how he only uses Korean organic no chemical free product in everyone's hairs. So why wouldn't I think that's his best product? I decided to give him another opportunity and went back for a 3rd (last time) I brought my 11 y.o grand daughter who had long curly to her waist hair, she needed a small trim. As I was getting my perm, my grand daughter combed her hair completely out so it would save time. While my hair was processing she got her trim maybe 1/2 inch ($30) smh.
After I returned home my hair had time to dried, I once again could see that there were lots of straighten hairs. I immediately left a message on Bryan's work #, with no response. A few days later left a voice message and sent pics to his cell phone w/no response. A few more days passed, 3rd and last attempt to contact him via text, again no response.
Unfortunately I made the made the mistake by mentioning that I had been taking chemo meds, I feel he used that excuse to his advantage for the reason my hair wouldn't take the perm, and that I should use his products. (I do not recommend this busn.)
I did in fact find a very good/nice woman at "Instyle Salon Johns Creek, GA, who gave me a GREAT tight perm for a much lower price.
Last Note: I do agree with others who stated that he would only engage in conversation if he was trying to push his products as well as add you to a pyramid busn from Korean. Unfortunately, I fell for it. and Now I'm trying to terminate myself from it. (sad)
You must make him your permanent hair stylish..Very professional. .. I got the best perm I've had since the 70's..I'll add pictures once my hair fully dries. ..Bryan even took the time to give me hands on instructional care to include products... I...
Read moreThe cut itself isn't bad. But the guy will tell you lies about your hair to sell products. I was told I was losing my hair on some spots of my hair, and that I absolutely should try a product which he conveniently has right there on the shelf.
Further, he will hint at you to try stuff from, and join, a (very obvious) pyramid scheme that he is a part of. I've never been so baffled by a hair place before.
Lastly, like some other reviews mention, he likes to lecture you about hair cutting and styling, and complains on and on about how "horrible customers who have no idea about hair" keep giving him poor reviews.
But as i mentioned in the beginning, the cut itself is not that bad,...
Read moreI can't say enough great things about Brian! I have naturally wavy hair and recently got a magic straight perm from him, and my hair looks the best it has ever looked. Brian was incredibly detail-oriented and precise throughout the entire process. His knowledge about hair care is unparalleled, and he taught me so much about how to take care of my hair, especially since I've been dealing with hair loss and frizz after having a baby. Thanks to Brian, my hair is smooth, healthy, and beautiful. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an expert stylist who truly cares about...
