Take a look at the reviews here. Most of them were written by their own staff and are glowing. It's just one of the many dishonest practices this realty office uses. My experience was that my agent was thorough and hardworking but the office refused to support my agent or me, the customer, on several occasions. First, when listing our house we received several offers very quickly. The office mis-handled the offers by not applying an escalation clause correctly and I found out later that one of the offers was from another agent in their organization. We had a problem with this buyer where their inspection damaged our property and created a false report that I needed to pay another inspector to refute. This buyer was an agent in their organization and should have known better. Hearthside would not speak to us about the issue and would only respond through their in house lawyer. The issue ended up being dropped after I had to put money in to fix the situation. I didn't think it would be wise to pursue as I ended up selling the house. It was a $500 lesson learned. Another big issue is that they push their in house title company even when it's not needed. They charge an additional fee and do work that I was able to get from the title company that was doing the buyers title work. It's just another way for them to make money. I will never do business with this realty office again and would give 1 star for the office, but my agent worked through all the problems and sold my house so I don't want that to reflect poorly...
