This place has good food, but everything else is terrible. There’s no room. There’s no parking. Some of the staff is very professional, but I’ve also had some very rude servers. If you plan on going here with a party of more than 1, you should go somewhere else. You’ll be bumping into the table next to you. There’s probably about 12 parking spots total, so you’ll probably have to park across the street, and it’s just not worth it. If you do get a spot, good luck, because the parking lot is typically difficult to get in and out of. I parked across the street once, and the owner of that business yelled at me and told me I couldn’t park there. One time I was eating there with my mom and she told the server she was my mom, and the server said right in front of everyone “I don’t care who you are”. I left immediately. I have gave it several more chances because I do enjoy the food, but after several disappointing trips l, I’m never going back there again. If you go there by yourself looking for food and drinks it should be ok, if you don’t mind potentially...
Read moreLately, my absolute favorite place to eat and we go there every couple of weeks. The buffalo wings are the best in the area (even better than that place in the boro named after a blood sucking insect). The habanero wing sauce is very hot but with excellent flavor and the wings are typically cooked very well, crispy enough but juicy. You can get them extra crispy but why chance that they will be overdone when the regular wings are plenty crispy? The blue cheese dressing they are served with is the best blue cheese on the planet. My wife, who's mostly vegetarian gets the wedge salad with the blue cheese dressing and agrees about the blue cheese. They make a very good cheese steak sandwich and their roast pork with sharp provolone sandwich is messy but GREAT. They also make really good french fries. Beers are reasonably priced, $2.75 for a pint of Bud up to $5.50 for a pint of Stella or a craft IPA. Service is generally very good and the...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to stop here on our travels. We really enjoyed the old town bar atmosphere. It was even great to see some of the locals walk in and greeted by the staff who knew them.
10 beers on tap. Nice and cold….& fresh. Loved that they had Yuengling Black & Tan on tap.
Food was delicious. I included a photo of the homemade mozzarella sticks. These are some of the best I ever had. My Reuben sandwich was excellent. A big sandwich with a lot of corn beef. I barely finished it. My wife had the Chili. Very tasty. Not too hot at all with spice, which was perfect.
The two ladies behind the bar were outstanding!! Super fast service. Super friendly. Made our visit that much better.
This is not a sports bar with tv’s everywhere. Sometimes it is nice to find a bar like this where you go to have a beer, a great meal and enjoy good company without a lot of distractions. Great crowd there too.
We definitely would like to visit again...
