Walgreens — Local services in Dr. Phillips

I was at the Rosen Center on International Drive in Orlando for a conference. I was pleasantly surprised to see a 24 hr Walgreens next door. I was able to get snacks, yogurts, pre-made sandwiches, drinks, and souvenirs at a reasonable price at any time of the day. I see that some of the previous reviews are mixed. I had great experiences with the same person in the middle of the day. She went into the back refrigerated area to get me something that was sold out in the display area. She suggested some items to me as well. She provided me a wonderful experience. I think the service depends on the employees attitude, but I had a great experience when I was there four times this past week. I used my credit card for a purchase when the lady says you have points I’ll redo it I agreed then it declined my card she tried 4 more times. I called card and it was charged 5 times!!! So it went through before she decided to redo it for my points then another 4 times!! I was told by a manager no it wasn’t and there was nothing they could do. I of course disagreed then spoke in Spanish to which I said do you mind repeating that in English and btw I don’t lie! He walked off ticked off then comes back mad and says can you prove it to me?!?!? Which I called and let him hear he gets mad and says well it didn’t charge and just walks off!!!! This is possibly the friendliest Walgreens I have ever been to. The staff here has always been amazing and are super fast to help. The store is always stocked up and has never been out of anything we needed. Prices are normal as well. You may think they would raise them being across from the convention center, but nope!
