If you're looking for a buffet with fresh food options then this is not the place for you. I was invited here and did not enjoy many of the food options. Seafood was frozen and defrosted, The One steak option was room temperature and was not tasteful, staff were great but not in Sync. They said they had lamb but it turned out to be Ribeye, they said they had pineapple juice but didn't. With 22% gratuity you're paying almost $90 a person. This makes it the most expensive & dumb decision you'll make for the day. Go to a fine dining restaurant for the same price, better atmosphere and easily accessibly to your car. Food is 0 Stars, if they charged me $15 to go back there and eat again I still would not return. They invested in Overstaffing instead of investing in fresh ingredients.

Very nice spot within the Rosen Centre Hotel for an all you can eat breakfast. Of course, the friends I shared breakfast with made it even better. The bacon was crispy and the chicken sausages were amazing. There is an omelette station and you can even get pancakes or waffles made to order. There is an assortment of fruit, including blueberries and strawberries. Beverages are also included. I highly recommend to anyone wanting a great breakfast at only $20 + service charges. $20 Price was worth the experience, but we did not like the 18% service bill added. Hence, the reason for four stars instead of five.

Breakfast buffet here was exceptional! Fresh fruit, cereals hot and cold, yogurt and toppings. Omelets custom made. Pancakes. Smoked salmon with all the fixings. Cheeses. Various breads, bagels and fresh pastries. Scones. Jams and jellies. Bacon. Different types of sausages. Breakfast potatoes. Biscuits and gravy. Coffee and juice are included for just under $20. Service for beverages was attentive including refills. Buffet was well attended and refilled constantly. Would definitely recommend but be sure to bring an appetite. Breakfast here eliminates the need for lunch.

We celebrated Thanksgiving lunch at Cafe Gauguin today and it was our first experience at a Rosen Resort. Today was a buffet featuring carving stations for Turkey and a Pork Roast, all of the typical Thanksgiving foods plus sushi, shrimp, baked coconut cod, pasta station, full breakfast and tons of desserts. They also had champagne and mimosas and of course sodas, tea and coffee. We paid when we made the reservation and gratuity was included in the price. Check in for our reservation was just across from the restaurant with very little waiting. We were taken into a holding area where they served Champagne and mimosas and offered a cheese buffet while we waited. We checked in early for our reservation and we did not wait long to be seated. Parking and valet parking were both free. Our servers Stan and Moe were very attentive, friendly and helpful. The restaurant manager stopped by to check on us and a little later Mt. Rosen himself stopped by to check on us. Thanksgiving Buffet was about $50 per person and well worth it for the quality of the food, service and ambience. And worth the price to pay so we did not have to cook and clean up. This was a wonderful experience that we would love to repeat. I didn’t take photos of our meal, there was just too many choices and photos would not have...

I thought the food was amazing and my server was alright but my experience went downhill when a cook came out and asked a server what time they were gonna close. I felt uncomfortable because I wanted to enjoy my food and not rush. About 10 mins later she came out speaking in Spanish saying how she wanted to close up and how someone was seated there or something along the lines of that. The person sitting there was me and little did anyone know I speak Spanish and understood it all. I have never felt so uncomfortable at a restaurant before. I've worked in a buffet before as a cook and I truly believe that If you're gonna work in a position like that, you work until doors close and then worry about pulling stuff. That's the right way of doing things, not standing outside the door staring at me or the others eating or talking about them as they're eating. It's 2022, trust me, more people speak Spanish now than ever and talking about people in another language isn't okay.

Oh, and this was at 7:20pm. From what I've heard, the closing...

Staff was great. Highly attentive, accommodating to our table change desire, and they were kind. High thanks! We tipped very well! The food was decent but somewhat uninspired. We had the buffet. This is a buffet location. They have hand sanitizer around the buffet, so use it! The chicken was a bit bland, the saffron risotto did not have much saffron flavor, the peas with pearl onions were not the best. The lasagna bolognese was awesome! Really good. All the extra items like the salad bar, the bread, the cold cut station and the soup station were all good. The seafood gumbo was enjoyable. At the hot station, the pot roast was the best and it held up against other pot roast dishes in my past for sure. Try it! The dessert station was also good. I enjoyed the apple pie with some soft serve ice cream. They had other baked options and toppings for the ice cream, but I had my fill already! For anyone in the Rosen that wants to sit down and have a buffet style meal with options for all, this is a good...
