Read moreHated it...the signage is HORRIBLE. Barely visible. I almost felt like I was in the twilight zone! When I arrived Thursday a.m., there are NO signs on the outsides of the buildings to tell you which concourse you are in??? Makes no sense whatsoever. Then there are NO employees - none. No info booths - nothing. I walked around and walked around...finally found a touch screen thing, but it didn't list the ballroom I was looking for - later found out because I was in Lobby A and my event was in Lobby C...again - how much sense does that make? You aren't in a different building, just a different lobby...so why wouldn't it list all events in that Concourse (West). Also - lost my jacket and they have no Lost and Found - or maybe they kind of do - but if it's clothing, they throw it away at the end of the day because of germs! And you just have to keep calling the Convention Center to ask if anyone turned in your jacket. Security was barely visible later. I had a huge handful of business cards in my jacket and if someone had just reached in the pocket, they could have texted me and I would have gladly paid a reward...NOPE!
The room options are good & they do have a nice theater. A few food options that were decent. But the vastness and lack of outside and inside signage/directions is just crazy. :((( I used to be a professional meeting planner for GSK and I would never want to host...

Visited the North/South center, first comment is that the parking fee is extremely high. $21 a car for a spot. No other real option so you pretty much have to pay it. No covered parking and the handicapped parking spaces are not necessary close to the entrance.
Second obvious observation is their food options are also super inflated. Understand that you are pretty much captive clientele so you have to pay it. Yes you could go out but it's quite a distance. The options are very limited inside and prices all seem to be fixed to the same price so not much in the way of looking for value. The options also look to not be staffed by actual restaurant employees, it "appears" they are conference center employees just serving catered food from named restaurants like Chick Fil A and Papa John's. I could be wrong but they didn't act like they were trained by those two companies. Either way, my meal of a chicken sandwich, chips and drink was over $20.
The conference center otherwise is clean and big enough to handle most conferences. If you have T-Mobile, the connection inside was excellent and didn't have to connect...
