Iāll give these guys 5 stars on service because they were absolutely amazing and patient with me as a customer, all around great help, only thing negative I have to say is there was shit all over the jackets they brought out from the back it was like tree sap or something, most of it came off the sweater I bought, and I donāt know if the brown workman durablend hoodie is actually a heather blend or not, but the one I got had more the a few white spots on the front wich they said their manager wouldāve most likely said was fine for 100% purchase, I got one on discount from Sportsmanās for even cheaper and it had zero white spots, I summed it up to maybe because itās a heather blended material but idk, I think itās honestly a QC ISSUE at production level. , they allowed me to return an online purchase of a cloud 9 insulated jacket I bought from ARIAT.com that had really bad stiching and for 129.99 dollar jacket thatās is nuts they would allow that to come out of production to head to the shelf for retail sale. There was literally cotton hanging out of the stitching on the inside more than just a bit, it was bad enough that I even heard the retail associate say yeah weāre gonna mark this damaged or something like that, lastly the socks I got I didnāt notice till I first wore them today on my birthday that they have two different color issues and stitching issues on the right sock, Iām honestly starting to get a little cold feet about ARIATs QC CONTROL. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe experienced the most hostile customer service ever at this location. We purchased waterproof work boots here for almost $200 and they were NOT waterproof and lasted SIX MONTHS. Ariat website states CLEARLY to return the boots where they were originally purchased from to honor the one year warranty that comes with all Ariat boot purchases. The two young ladies who were initially helping us didn't know how to honor the warranty so they agreed to exchange them or provide a gift card for the amount they were purchased for. We decided to exchange the boots however when we got back to the register a rude little boy told us to "never do that again" with a disgusting attitude because their manager doesn't honor the warranty (THERE WAS NO MANAGER IN SIGHT). I was SPEECHLESS this boy was talking to us this way for NO reason and he was going off. I ended up telling this boy he has horrible customer service and that the warranty isn't optional for retailers. It's a manufacturer warranty unrelated to the store.
I plan on reporting this store to corporate because the way we were treated. The employees lack of training and policy understanding should NOT be taken out on the customer. There's a reason these warranties exist and everyone in this store needs to be trained on how to honor the manufacturer's one year warranty to avoid future lawsuits. Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I drove 45+ minutes to stop by this Ariat location. We arrived at 5:30pm on a Sunday evening. The store closes at 6 & we were well aware of that. We are respectful of people's time & came in knowing exactly what we were looking for. When we walked in the three employees working gave off incredibly rude vibes. They were off-putting from the moment we stepped foot into the store. It made us feel extremely uncomfortable & almost as if we were a burden. I'm not sure if it's because we arrived 30 minutes before close or if it's because I was dressed casually in sweats (maybe they thought I shouldn't be shopping there) However, I was fully ready to purchase a pair of boots for my husband's birthday but we left empty handed & decided to shop online instead. I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service these 3 people displayed towards us. Especially after driving to Draper clear out from Tooele with our 1 year old baby. I've worked in Customer Service for years & would never act so snobby to someone who walked into my place of work....
