TL:DR: I was quoted $400 to replace an SSD and "change configuration settings". After refusing the outrageous price, I was still charged $129 for a very vague "diagnosis" (see attached image). When I picked up my PC, it wouldn't even power on, and Sina ghosted me. Thoroughly disappointed with the service I received from Sina and his "team". Don't be deceived by all the good reviews, he may be great for basic phone/computer repairs, but don't trust him with your $1000+ PC if you are looking for an advanced diagnosis and repair. I consider myself a computer enthusiast and built my own computer, though after a year of running mostly stable, my system started crashing very frequently. I tried to diagnose it myself for a while, but with my workload, I didn't find the time and lacked additional hardware to further troubleshoot the issue. I came to I Need A Techie after reading all the good reviews, hoping to interact with knowledgeable people with more testing equipment to help diagnose my issue. After dropping my PC off at the front desk of a corporate office, my PC was taken to an undisclosed location to be worked on. This is not advertised anywhere, and was the first of many surprises I encountered. Through my phone call interactions with Sina, every time I actually spoke with him (~once per day), he seemed increasingly annoyed. I would only call during business hours, yet it still took me calling at multiple different times throughout the day for him to pick up. While he originally said he would have a diagnosis done in 1-2 days, after nagging him everyday, he got back to me with a very vague answer after a whole week! Sina claimed that there was something wrong with my SSD and that it needed to be upgraded to a higher capacity and some Windows and Nvidia graphics settings needed to be "configured to its full performance". To carry out these changes, he quoted me $400 (more than 35% of the entire cost of my PC). I refused to pay that much for his suggested repairs, but was still stuck paying the $129 "diagnosis" fee (which he told me about upfront at least). For $129, I expected to at least get a more detailed diagnostics report entailing the details of the various tests that they performed and their outcomes. Instead, he told me that they usually don't write ANYTHING down, and he acted like he was doing me a special favor by sending the "details" in the email (see attached image). I thought it couldn't get worse, but after I picked up my PC (which I couldn't test before I picked it up because it was in a corporate office building) and took it home, it wouldn't even power on. I tried calling and texting Sina, but never got any reply. He got his money, and didn't want anything to do with his annoying customer. I usually never write reviews for anything, but I'm sharing a detailed account of my experience in hopes that whoever reads this can avoid getting scammed. Please save yourself a hassle by finding a better place. Based on the outcomes and my interactions, I feel scammed and disrespected.

I was looking for a place to have my iMac Pro battery replaced without paying an arm and a leg. I google for computer repair near me while I was in the Dublin area and fortunately enough I found Sina from I need a techie. Not only he is a "techie" he replaced my battery, he fix my iMac Desktop, he literally built a new PC for my wife, come to my home and installed it, and now he is doing all my database backup along with the setup for a "switch " that will allow me to go from Apple to PC with a touch of a button. I can't say THANK YOU enough! Not only he is a great Techie but his ethics are a match to his skills. A great human being and definitely a "keeper " I only wish I met him few years back" but most important he is now in my VIP list. I highly recommend Sina for any of your PC or Apple needs. Thank you Sina! šŸ‘šŸ½

10 STARS! I’m so so grateful that I found Sina at I Need a Techie!! I broke my laptop and it was going to be in the repair shop for at least 7-10 biz days. As probably most of us can relate, I completely depend on my computer for work so definitely could not go that long just getting my on my phone! Initially, It was harder than I thought to find a laptop rental place in the East Bay, and I was starting to get a little frantic. But I finally found INAT via Google Maps, and Sina not only responded IMMEDIATELY to my query, but he was able to meet up with me at his office just a few hours later to get me set up with a MacBook. (As an aside, He’s in a lovely office building in Dublin and the receptionist is just about the loveliest person I’ve ever met!)

Sina also provides first-class service while you have a rental laptop. I needed some very specific programs to get some work done (adobe indesign and acrobat pro). Sina was able to help me remotely to get those downloaded to the laptop. Even when we faced a little hurdle in getting them downloaded, he troubleshooted it until it was all figured out. I feel bad because I texted him a little later in the evening one night, thinking he’d just get back to me the next day, but NO, he responded immediately and helped me troubleshoot something until almost 10pm!

Prices are very reasonable and payment was very simple (was able to use Venmo but I think he takes other forms of payment as well). My laptop ended up being in the shop for 3 weeks (!!!), but Sina has been nothing but gracious in extending the...

I recommend I Need A Tachie to everyone! One of the best customer service experiences I have had in a long time! I had issues with my iPad connecting to Wifi. When I tried to connect my iPad to Wifi, it would go into an inifitie reboot loop. I tried to fix it myself, by googling the problem to no avail. I finally decided to get professional help. A friend of mine referred I Need A Techie. I finally decided to bite the bullet and call for help, as I was despirate and needed my iPad fixed asap. First thing that impressed me was the quick response. I got to talk to an actual person right away! The person I talked to at I Need A Techie was Sina. What I loved about my experience was that Sina was very attentive. He listened very carefully to me going on and on about the issue, and fixes I had tried myself. I told Sina that ideally I wanted to avoid doing a factory reset. Sina reassured me that he would fix my iPad. He was very calm and calmed me down too, which I appreciated a lot! I was also very impressed with the speed of service! I sent my iPad in to I Need A Techie, it was fixed and back to me after 2 business days!!! Very impressive!!! He fixed the problem without doing a factory reset. All of my data was completely secure and it was all there! The final thing that really really impressed me was that Sina went above and beyond the problem with my iPad. He taught me a few different settings that I could use for a better experience. He did not have to do that. I genuenly felt that he cared about me as a client. Thank you Sina! You will always have...
