The selection of lamps good. However, staff members lack positive behavior in customer service. I entered store one hour before closing and observed I was the only customer in the store. I was not approached nor was I welcome by staff member. I walked around looked at lamps and l decided to inquire about them. I approached the check out counter and politely asked the three ladies behind the counter for help with my pick of lamps. I recall them looking at each other as if which one was go to help me, that was strange to see because there was no one else in the store at the time. One asked me what I need help with and I showed her the lamp and asked if they had two in stock. She began to check via the computer on the showroom floor and I looked at other possible lamps. Minutes went by, 3 or 4 I went back to her and and asked again about my pick and was told WAIT, I'M STILL CHECKING. I looked at her to read her facial expressions but couldn't because of the mask. I felt as if I was bothering her. She said only one in stock. I asked if I could buy the one on the floor and the other one in stock and she replied "no we don't sell our floor items I could order them". I said no, could not wait and needed to have them before the holiday. It was two days before Christmas and I really wanted those lamps at. So I selected another pair that was less expensive than my first choice. Not sure if that clerk was okay with my pick. I shopped there before and don't recall the staff being short on customer service etiquette. I loaded my car and went back into the store with my friend to show them the lamps I wanted and the one I purchased. The sell clerk looked at me and didn't ask nor say a word to me about my purchase or offer any additional help to me. The entire experience was less than what I wanted and expected. I don't recall the name but I do have her associate number on my receipt. I want to go back for another purchase of something else that interest me, however, I will have to make a strong positive effort to avoid that clerk and hope to get someone in...

I actually quite like the store & have been a loyal customer for over 6 years & have not only spent thousands of dollars here, but have referred many friends & clients to them as well. Unfortunately, I've worked with Mary before out of sheer politeness & It's not the first time that she was loud & condescending. However, her dreadful behavior this time pushed me to write this review. When asked how old my house is/dimension of the kid's rooms, she told me that she was the "expert" & that my house is "extremely old with very small rooms" apparently 'smaller than her house'; Wow! Next, while waiting for her at the counter I went to use the restroom. Since it was dirty & didn't have seat covers, I used the one next to it. When I stepped out, Mary was standing outside the restroom & loudly announced with a stern face "that restroom is not for customers". The store had other customers at this time & I hesitantly told her that it wasn't clean. She said "you should have told us instead of using the other one". Well Mary, you see my dear, I'm pregnant (which you could obviously see) & didn't pay attention to the sign on the second door in a rush but all the customers standing right there sure paid attention to your scornful behavior. It's shocking that you would try to publicly humiliate a customer who is spending $2000 under 20mins in the store you work at. It was hugely embarrassing & honestly; I could have given her a piece of my mind & walked out but didn't want to take any more stress in my condition. So, I purchased the lights, cancelled the fans & calmly left. I'm not sure if I'll return which is a pity because I do like the store & their products but I sincerely hope that the owners/management pay attention to their customer's reviews so that others don't get...
