I have been coming to this Kroger for years—since childhood, in fact. It’s always been the go-to spot for my family, whether for groceries or everyday essentials. Naturally, when I was old enough to work, I applied here, expecting a familiar and welcoming environment. Instead, I quickly learned what goes on behind the scenes: overworked young and disabled employees blatant disregard for their well-being, and a management team that thrives on disrespect. It didn’t take long before I resigned, unwilling to tolerate the toxic leadership any longer.
Now, as an adult, I continue to shop here reluctantly, simply because it’s my local grocery store. However, every visit reminds me of why I would love to never set foot in this place again—mainly because of Mobi, the so-called manager, who might be the rudest, most incompetent excuse for a leader I have ever encountered.
My latest experience only reinforced this. I went in to use the Coinstar machine and needed my cash reimbursement from customer service. When I got to the desk, there was no one there. I waited patiently for ten minutes before politely asking an employee at a nearby register if they could page someone. He pointed me to Mobi, who was standing at a register—doing absolutely nothing—engaged in casual conversation.
I approached her politely and said, “Hey, there’s no one at the desk. Could you page someone really quickly?” Instead of even pretending to be professional, she snapped her head around like I had personally offended her, glared at me, and barked, “He’ll be around.” I explained that I had already been waiting and just needed my cash, and she elevated her voice, repeating in the most condescending tone that I needed to be patient.
Mind you, she was fully capable of helping me herself. From my experience working there, I know she could have processed the transaction in less than a minute, but instead, she chose to be deliberately unhelpful and dismissive. When I pointed out that no one had been there for over 15 minutes, she doubled down, ordering me to go back and wait, promising that he would return “eventually.”
As I walked away, she continued yelling at me across the store, then got on the intercom and paged the employee with such a disgustingly rude tone that even other customers looked uncomfortable. After waiting another ten minutes, I was finally helped—a total of 25 minutes wasted because this woman simply refuses to do her job.
Mobi is single-handedly running this Kroger into the ground. Not only is she an absolute nightmare for employees, but she also lacks even the most basic customer service skills. How she has managed to keep this position for so long is beyond me. The sheer unprofessionalism, entitlement, and nastiness she exhibits on a daily basis is unacceptable, and the fact that Kroger continues to allow it speaks volumes about their standards.
If you can, avoid this location entirely. But if you must shop here, brace yourself for some of the worst customer service imaginable—especially if Mobi...
Read moreOn our way to home, we stop by at the Kroger next to our home, because our baby fell asleep, I stayed in my car, my wife went for grocery shopping. Today was a good day, my wife went into Kroger with good mood, but came out crying sad, and told me the bad experience she had with a Kroger staff, Mobi. Mobi was discriminating my wife who uses wic voucher. My wife brought two half gallon whole milk to check out, because the store ran out of the one gallon whole milk. From the beginning of the checkout, Mobi lack of customer service and acting remiss. Mobi asked my wife to sign on the voucher twice, and suspected my wife, by asking her multiple times if the name on the voucher herself. Things already don't feel right for my wife from there. After the questioning from Mobi about the voucher, Mobi told my wife to get one gallon whole milk instead, my wife explained one gallon whole milk isn't in stock, and asked if one gallon reduced fat milk can be an alternative. Mobi said "if you want", making my wife walk all the way to the back corner of the store, returning to the same checkout desk with the one gallon reduced fat milk to only get rejected again, if that's not bad enough, Mobi made it worse by poking the information on the voucher, questioned with rage if my wife read the information multiple times. Also told her to go to any other stores instead. My wife felt very aggrieved by what Mobi did, Mobi not only deceived a pregnant woman to go from one end to another end of the store for nothing, in return Mobi shamed my wife with discrimination. My wife understand the voucher information, she returned with one gallon reduced fat milk was because what Mobi told her to do. My wife got very angry, went to checkout with other cashier, at the end she didn't checkout with the milk, all the drama was supposed to be done by then, but Mobi came swiftly and scold the cashier who did the checkout for my wife. Mobi scolded the cashier for letting my wife to purchase the milk with the voucher. Mobi kept on being a crazy person scolding the cashier until the cashier replied the milk wasn't checkout. Mobi is very rude, not even a slightest customer service was given, it blows our mind how she became the supervisor. My wife cries out as she coming to the parking lot, told me everything how Mobi being a discrimination and gives no...
Read moreI'm not sure if I can say many good things about this Kroger. Unfortunately it's my local Kroger and right down the street making it super convenient. I always leave pissed off because 90% of the time they are out of the things that I went there for. I went one night for cilantro because I was making chili-guess what, no cilantro. I went one night for half & half for the morning coffee-guess what, no half & half. I could see boxes behind the refrigerator section that said half & half on them so I went to the front to ask if somebody could just open a box and let me have a half & half and they said no they don't have enough staff. So I had to drive to the Publix to get freaking half & half. Nobody seems to give a crap about this run down store. They always have these long water absorption things on the floor in front of the freezer sections because I guess the freezer section is leaking or defrosted. So that means that whatever food was in the freezer section has probably defrosted. I can report that I have purchased ice cream that you can tell has been melted and re-frozen because it's icy and nasty. The carts are mostly broken down with the wheels lumpy and bump, bump, bump along as you're trying to grocery shop. Just avoid this Kroger and go to another grocery store altogether. **UPDATE- See Photos. I was hoping that things would change at this Kroger but unfortunately the poor quality here just never seems to disappoint. I was there last night 6/22/25 to pick up a few things that I needed for dinner prep. I saw these Guava Empanada's which I don't remember ever seeing before so I decided to try them. Big mistake🤬, as usual they are absolutely terrible and at $7.99 a total and complete waste of your hard earned money. The pastry, and I even hesitate using the term "pastry" because it was thick, tasteless and not a bit flaky. It kinda tasted like raw flour mixed with glue. The filling was non existent🤦🏼♀️no cream cheese and worst of all, NO GUAVA. Well maybe something that had the color of guava with no flavor. Do not bother wasting your money on the "baked"...
