Marshalls — Local services in Duluth

Always has super long lines so this is not the place for quick trips. I received a gift card to this place for baby clothes and have been in a few times to try to find something. In the winter time 1 lady came in and bought all the coats and she was grabbing them off the rack while I was looking for them and she knew I was (not for donations either as she said she just was buying them when an employee asked. She had 2 carts full of them.). My baby girl just needed one jacket and that lady looked at me and took them all. Employees where not helpful in finding items at all. If the 3 employees hadn't walked by me without ignoring me trying to get their attention I may have been able to get a coat from there. Ended up getting the one cold weather item they had in stock and left. Still have money on that card and have no desire to go back. That same baby is now almost 2 and has a sibling on the way. Hate wasting money but Marshalls just seems like a horrible store with nasty customers and horrible employees. Not a type of store I would like to...

First time in this store to shop for a holiday gift and was racially profiled i went inside and saw a cordless vacuum that i wanted to get.. it was three different vacuums which gave me options and i was looking at each one comparing the items.. next thing i notice i hear over the intercom was an employee call someone by the name to come over and stand by me and watch me as i shop.. i ask the young lady did they just call you to come over here so you can watch me bc they think im about to steal she giggled and said no i told her yes she did then she laughed.. the manager Behnzi (not sure if spelled correctly) but was very rude when i brought this to her attention.. it’s a shame im a black women and couldn’t shop in peace.. i just walked out and didn’t buy anything.. it’s a very sad world we live in 2023 and its sad bc it will...

Store closed early, apparently because the manager just felt like doing so. There was a light rain falling when we arrived at 9:20... They were supposed to close at 10, and we had driven 25 minutes to get there. Instead of being able to look for what we went for, we had to leave 5 minutes after arriving. Employees were rude and unsympathetic as they practically pushed us out the doors. Not bothering with this location again. Who knows when they'd decide to create company policy on their own again? My only guess is the rain was the reason but geez Louise...we live in Georgia...it rains most weeks...
