Great store with welcoming staff. I appreciate the seriousness in which they take the health and safety of their staff and customers during this COVID pandemic. Too many people are acting like this novel coronavirus isn’t a thing, but it’s killed over 180,000 Americans in 2020 (And over 800 positive cases in St. Louis County here in MN) and we continue to see spikes of infection because people aren’t practicing enough infectious precautions. This is why I appreciate Northwoods so much. All the staff their are amazing and helpful when I have questions or want to know what’s new in the store. I recommend following them on Facebook for updates. You can find delicious treats and a huge variety of wonderful gifts and clothing items for any occasion.

I have noticed that people are writing negative reviews because of their anti-mask beliefs and it is clear that those people don’t really care about keeping their community safe or taking responsibility for their choices in not masking. If someone can’t wear a mask for a medical reason then they shouldn’t be out in public anyway where there is higher risk of community spread of infection. These people could have been responsible and called the store to ask for accommodations such as curbside pickup or asking if they are carrying what the customer is looking for, but instead they decided to try to break the infectious precautions and were angry when they got called out on it.

Again, I appreciate that the staff are enforcing compliance with wearing masks during this health crisis and anyone trying to shame this store for caring about infectious precautions need to really do some self-reflection about how selfish they are being by ignoring infectious precautions during...

Used to really love this store, and purchased there a lot. But lately, yikes! We were there a couple weeks ago, and the minute we walked in one of the employees yelled from across the store at my daughter that she couldn’t bring her drink in the store. When she said it’s empty she told her there was a garbage can outside. What?!?! Then they don’t take cash, because, as the owner told me too much counterfeit money. I asked other stores if it was a huge issue and they said no. Does she know there is a machine she could get that you run the bills through, As a small business owner myself, I spent the money on the machine rather than pay big credit card fees. Lastly the whole time we were in there the employees were following behind us and other customers in the store. It just was an unwelcoming environment all around. My daughter wanted to purchase a few things but she put them down, saying these people are too rude, and we left. There were some people on the street complaining about how they were treated in the store. You need to do better or you’re going to start losing...

This Northwoods Gift Shop place is A+May-Zing! If there was a hypothetical question of, if you could have an endless gift "gift" card to any store (not a practical one)... THIS WOULD BE THE ONE! I took over 87 photos here, but Google will only allow me to share 50!!? My husband was with me and so we had already been there 30-45 min, not I could have been there much longer!

The employees are very friendly, the prices are reasonable for clothing, books, stickers $2-4.95, Sooo many Puzzle Twist puzzles! Lots of Puzzle in general, many, that this was my first time hearing of! So cute! SO many neat Duluth T shirts too.
