Sunshine Massage — Local services in Duluth

I visit Sunshine spa every month. My favorite person is Samantha. She is very helpful. I can call her and she will let me know which masseuse is avail at which locations. She knows my standards and ensures that I am paired with the right person. I like Sunshine Spa because of her. She will go above and beyond. The spa is always clean and has a very upscale appearance. I would visit more except they don’t have a shower. I prefer to take a shower before my massage, because typically I am traveling from work. And I prefer to freshen up. A typical massage is $60, an hour. 90 min is $100 and so on. They used to offer 4 hands which is awesome. But I have not tried that in a while. They offer table showers at one location and self showers at most of their others. The self shower used to be free, now it’s $10. 😩

I recommend you go by and try them.. If they are busy. Ask them if they have availability at another location, so you won’t have to wait. They typically have several masseuse working. So stop by tell them Ken (Body Builder). Sent you.

My boyfriend and I came in to get a massage. We paid upfront. They placed us in separate rooms, the receptionist escorted me to my room and told me to change and dimmed the lights to pitch black. I could barely see to put my clothes on the hanger so i turned up the light a little. As I’m walking towards the massage bed, i notice a hair and thought no biggy. I opened up the sheet and saw 10 more hairs and noticed the sheet looked dirty like someone had already laid in it. I get dressed to leave and get my boyfriend. The receptionist only asks him why I’m upset. She only speaks to him in Spanish when she could clearly speak English. And tries to convince him to make me stay for a massage because they couldn’t give us a refund or else she would be fired. Guilted us to stay and all i wanted to do was leave and not waste any...

I thought from the reviews... it can't be that bad.... so I went. I asked for a deep tissue 1 hour body 30 min foot massage. I waited 20 min and the person came in. She was sweet, but told me she could not give me deep tissue. I said, ok. 30 min on my back to be nice. Yall it was the worst massage I ever got. She clearly had no training and was just running oil on me. I heard another person in the hall irate bc they pre paid for 1 hr and got a 15 min massage after waiting 30 min. This place is badly managed. 1 hour is $60, but the person wanted to charge me $50 dollars for a 30 min oil rub down. I am so disappointed. My body was hurting and I really needed this massage. Terrible....
