Ding Tea is a place for someone who loves milk and boba. You can find these types of drinks anywhere in other stores but Ding Tea with its boba tastes different. Especially on a sunny day, having Ding Tea tastes a lot better. It’s also very affordable. Compared to other boba drinks, I believe that Ding Tea has the best pricing with its great taste. Their service is fast and quick. There’s usually more than two employees at sight. I haven’t yet been to Ding Tea where it has been extremely busy, so my orders are done quickly. As you walk in to order your drinks, the employee greets you in a friendly manner. I remember when it was my very first time going after a friend recommended me to try Ding Tea , I didn’t know what to get. The employees were kind enough to be patient with me and recommended some of their favorite drinks to me. What’s my favorite thing about Ding Tea is their Golden Boba topping. They’re chewy like- circle bobas. It comes with a big straw so when drinking, the bobas can easily come through. They also have a variety of toppings, of course. Other toppings are such as Rainbow Jelly, Grass Jelly, Coconut Jelly, and etc. They also offer drinks from cold to hot. I really like how you can choose how much sugar and ice you can add to your drinks. Sometimes it can be too sweet or too much ice could be added. My regular order at Ding Tea would be Passion Fruit Yakult with Golden Boba. Other than that, I always get the Mango Milk Tea with Golden Boba. Without boba added to my drink, it’s not a Ding Tea drink to me. I like mine with normal sugar and less ice. One secret is , shake your drink well before you drink it! Another thing besides the great drinks is the aesthetic decoration of the store. With flowers and letters to their tall chairs; it’s perfect for a photo. I dislike going alone to such a beautiful place so I always bring my sister or friends along with me. The place is quite hard to find since it’s not a big store. It’s between many other little food places. They also do delivery which I find really wonderful. Although Ding Tea is a great place to get a fresh drink on the way to anywhere, it doesn’t open until almost afternoon (depending on the days). So if I were to get Ding Tea before my morning classes start, I wouldn’t be able too. Fantastic tea flavor, and great atmosphere!

Update: 01/2025. I love that ding tea duluth recently renovated the store as it was much needed. As a avid bubble tea drinker and former boba barista, the drinks menu reflected on what the customers like to drink, and what the baristas imagined about ding teas drinks, but some of the items are not of ding tea's drinks making it not authentic ding tea. I usually go to other ding tea locations too like ding tea norcross/lawrenceville/suwanee/mallofga/johns creek/athens.

Let me tell you, this store has fresh ingredients and their drinks are good each and every time. Duluth location impressed me just a bit with the renovation and their drinks really catched up in quality than other locations which I really appreciate. But originality wise, all other ding teas (including duluth location) need to be creative with each ownership of their stores, and not copy each other and their ideas from other locations. (If this is true)

Otherwise, the service here does not compare to other location of ding tea because they mess up your order and some of the workers can sometime have attitude with you. Its a hit or miss. The service overall is average. There is a lot of competition as it seems in duluth area but everyone has their own favorite boba shop. But I'll keep visiting ding tea duluth every time because it's near home. 😁
