Jiffy Lube — Local services in Duncanville

I SUPPOSEDLY got my oil changed at this place on March 8. And I really wanted to like it because there were two women working there, and it was International Women's Day. So much for that. When they pulled my car around Lady 2 asked Lady 1 if she had reset my oil light, and Lady 1 said, "No, I always have problems with those things." So, Lady 2 reset it. Then, when I got in the car I noticed my tire light was still on (it was on when I got there), but my receipt said that all tires had been checked and were 32 psi. I told Lady 1, and she insisted that she had checked them. I pulled out my tire gauge to check myself, and the passenger rear tire was 19. She told me, "I don't know how that thing is reading, but they were all 32 when I checked, and sometimes you have to drive the car for a while in order for the light to re-calibrate." (That's not how my car works, but I had to get to work.) Those were red flags for me, so I decided to check under the hood to see if other things were done. The windshield washer fluid is not topped off, but the receipt says is was. Lady 1 told me the coolant was low, so I gave consent to fill it and paid $5.49 for that. My son took my car to this location on December 29, 2019. He had a oil change done, keep in mind I normally go the the Camp Wisdom location in Grand Prairie. I drop my car the next day 24 miles, and heard a knocking sound so loud and abnormal, I drove back to the location so they could look at it. The tech claim to be the one who drained my oil and Robert the manager did the top part. Robert was not in and the two techs on duty had no explanation or advice on the sound or any idea of where it came from. Which let me know they can only (maybe) change oil. The District manager Kaleb, ignored 4 of my phone calls, only to call back with no legitimate explanation of his next move. However, the next day he went to check out my car without informing so I could be there, only to tell me they are denying responsibility. Along with many lies he told on the staff at the service center . I will update the outcome of this horrible experience after tomorrow. But stay away from the Duncanville location, inexperienced, dishonest, and won't help you...

These guys are incredible! I went to another oil change spot on Wheatland Rd the week before—let’s just call them “Grab 6” 😅—and they told me I needed a radiator fluid change for about $140. I told them I’d come back the next week, but when I returned, the line was way too long. That’s when I decided to go to Jiffy Lube instead—and I’m so glad I did!

The team at Jiffy Lube clearly showed me that I didn’t need the radiator service yet. I always felt something was off with the recommendation from "Grab 6" because they never really explained why it was necessary. At Jiffy Lube, they were honest, helpful, and thorough—they even checked my battery, helped with my lights, and made sure everything was in good shape before I left.

I’ll definitely be going to Jiffy Lube from now on. Thank you to the awesome team...
