Today’s experience was not what I’m use to from this location, as the previous staff had be way better then the lady I encountered today. I called prior to coming to make sure my space wasn’t blocked as I have a 32ft rv stored with 24 he access. The young lady said she would clear the area , but as we got half way into the gate the employee car was parked along the fire lane , making access impossible. As we waited hanging out the gate for someone to come out nobody showed up so I called back, and Informed the lady about the car blocking access, she ASKED ME IF I COULD GO THE OTHER WAY. The audacity, to ask me that. I informed her no I can’t and she stated , That She ALREADY MOVED THE UHAULS From Blocking my parking spot as if she was doing me a favor. I TOLD HER No , I Can’t go the other way. So we are sitting waiting on the staff lady to come out, and she on her cellphone as it was on speaker , she then asked me again So you can’t go the other way, and I politely told her no and If I have to I’ll be filing a complaint with corporate, she stated that fine but this spot is where employees supposed to park. I advised her to move it back there after she left me through but your blocking entry at this moment. I have been on the road coming from a 200 mile drive to park and I’m held up by this lazy employee.This is unacceptable, the staff here are normally nice to work with but this employee Uhaul can do without. The customer service was a negative 0, and Uhaul can definitely someone better people oriented than this. Who tells their customer to just go the other way, my spouse suffers from severe ptsd, anxiety, bipolar disorder and this really triggered his as he don’t like combative mannerisms. I called the customer service line as well and they couldn’t even get her on the phone as they tried twice calling to get a manager on our behalf. I really hope that the store can at least find a parking space for employees as I hope to never have to encounter such a unwilling to help type of staff member. I prefer to have nice encounters and not this ghetto experience nor the employee I had to deal with today. Read moreMy code to the gate was never input correctly They asked that I create a 4 digit pin. Did so couldn’t access the gate after I got back with the uhaul to put my belongings in the storage. Keep in mind the storage is closed. I park the Uhual in front of the building, locked it up and left for the night. Contact them at 7:30am on 1/25/23 to learn that I needed a 6 digit pin Not 4 digit. It’s a $10 24hr access fee I wasn’t aware of. Got misled information about the storage info access times. I was refunded (which I still hadn’t received) I was denied access to enter the gate to access my unit on 1/27/23 due to non payment which this is 4 days later. When I was let in the gate my unit had a padlock on it for non payment. I’ve only been in the unit 6 days. So I get to my storage finally to get kids school clothes out for the following week, to learn I couldn’t access my belongings, I had to get the lock removed by Brandy the GM for the location. Read moreThis is one of the most unprofessional fraudulent staff I have ever dealt with at a U-Haul from day one from all the trying to get extra I’m sure financial records need to be reviewed because I’m just about sure theft if going on at this location after seeing I was charged a extra day on my rental they proceeded to try to run my card 10 times in a hour for $84 when all I owed was 20! I lost the key to my storage to a lock I didn’t want in the first place because I had one at home where I know where the keys are lost the key ask Dominica how much is it to cut the lost she said it was free just had to pay for the lock I got to the location and was told now it was a $50 charge to get in the unit but that’s not what I was told on the phone so I ask to speak to the manager no resolution because they all in on it I called customer service still no resolution so I needed to get my stuff out before the free month of storage was up because I know there would me more issue in the future dealing with fraudsters...
