I had an Amazon return & chose the Durham Kohl's as the location to return my items... I arrived about 20 minutes before closing... the store was very pretty (every Kohl's I've been to, is always very pretty) I was greeted by a cashier (she was cleaning the register area very throughly) & she showed me where the Amazon return area is located. There wasn't anyone at the Amazon desk, but found a young lady folding shirts in the ladies department & asked for help... said she would help me if the person was in the back... (I didn't get her name.. wish I had cause she was super nice & helpful!) When we got back to the Amazon desk she said she would process my return... this young lady had me completely finished in about 45 seconds with $5 in Kohl's Cash!!! Awesome customer service!! I found some very pretty eyeshadow as I was leaving so I could use my Kohl's cash... At the checkout, 1 person was in front of me finishing her transaction. When it was my turn (the same young lady who helped me at the Amazon desk was now the cashier!), she said "just a moment & I'll be right with you..." She wiped down the entire counter area & the POS charge card machine. When she finished as proceeded with my check out... All of this was minutes before they were closing... The store was extremely clean, very employee I encounter was very pleasant & helpful... I would definitely go back to this store & recommend it everyone!! And the young lady who was working last night (Tuesday May 3rd, 2021) in the Ladies department, Amazon & cashier made everything about my visit fast, easy & hassle free!! She deserves a...
Read moreI spent nearly an hour browsing through the chaotic clearance section for a few affordably priced pairs of jeans and found two that I liked. When I went to check out, the jeans did not ring up as clearance, and when we pointed out that they were in the clearance section were told they must have not been meant to be there. I understand that people often put things back willy-nilly and that things sometimes end up in the wrong section, but as we pointed out when attempting to check out, this was not a case of a few random pairs being stuck on a rack, there were literally dozens of this exact brand, fit, and cut of jeans spread throughout the clearance section, properly hung and separated by size and we had seen not a single pair of that brand and cut in the regular price section; some employee had clearly hung these throughout the clearance section under the impression they *were *clearance, and there was every reason for us to assume in good faith that they were clearance. While that may have been a mistake, I still remember when stores took responsibility for accurately shelving items, and when a store would have honored the clearance price on something that they had mistakenly put the entire stock of in the...
Read moreI went with my mom to Kohl's for the first time and it was the worst experience of my life. we finished shopping and we made our way to the checkout counter. This african american lady at the checkout counter was being so rude to us. One of our family friend didn't want the shirt anymore so I went to put it back, but I put it on the rack (because I didn't know we were suppose to give them the cloths that we're not buying). She rudely told me to not put it on the rack and that to give it to her. Keep in mind the whole time she was checking our stuff out, she never once give us a smile or greated us. That wasn't the worst part of it. When we were ready to pay for our cloths, my mom was getting her money out of her purse and put it on the counter because she had to get some changes too. This woman!, told us to put the money in her hand. the money is on the counter and her cand was already very close to the money, she will not get the money and told us to pick up the money and put in it her hand. The worse experience of my life. This trip will be the very first time and also the very last...
