Hey I'm sorry but I am not getting any discounts for checking myself out. This just allows your dishonest people more access to walk out freely without paying for items. In fact let's just say another individual made this very clear recently by walking out of the store in front of the lady assisting people at the self checkout and I watched her help this person steal numerous items adding up to a significant amount of money. Way to go Home Depot!!!! I will continue shopping at Lowe's where I can go let another person earn their money by checking me out plus Lowe's will not have to Jack up their prices due to employees assisting people off the street in stealing merchandise from the store. Man I couldn't believe how easy it is to have a Home Depot Employee basically load up your cart and just give you stuff for free. Truly Amazing is all I can say. Also the best time to walk away with so much free stuff is when you have a decoy distract the one person watching and all the check out lines are busy. I witnessed this tactic the old distract the old lady while I check myself out and pay for a couple of things but slip the big stuff out the door with the little old lady holding the door for you. There is not a single gas station or pharmacy around this entire area for like 5 miles (except 2 overpriced BPs side by side). Well, there is the Kroger hidden up over the hill. So, if you need to run in and out of a convenient store for staples like smokes, beer, lottery tickets, or even a snack...turn back around and head back to Raleigh! There ain't nothing quick about this area, not to mention the 25 red lights you'll have to stop at.

Thankfully, that Kroger is there because 90% of the stores/restaurants in this overcrowded shopping area are not of any repeated use; 4 mattress shops, a used computer repair shop, 5 cell phone companies, a Weight Watchers, and a PDQ! If you like big box stores like Wal*Mart, Best Buy, & Michael's then maybe it's for you, just not me. I'll be one less car on the road during rush hour!

One more thing, good luck entering/exiting the Walmart parking lot. There is a 1 way stop sign to oncoming traffic that never stops. Also, when it's dark outside, good luck ever getting the turning lane light to turn green, you're most likely running that light. A unique strip mall which caters to all food types from burgers, to steak, ribs, seafood, Mexican, home cooking, with a local Home Depot, Rose Witherspoon nursery, and Home 2 motel chain. On this particular outing, had lunch with parents, sister, and oldest niece at the Applebee's restaurant. My parents occurred the 8 0unce steaks with loaded potatoes and green beans, my sister and niece ordered the all you can eat tablets, shrimp, and chicken tenders, while my husband and I opted for the 2 for $25 salads, entrees, and dessert. Everyone got iced tea Qe had a fantastic waitress who stayed on point with the all you can eat selections and well as insuring our team stayed full.
