My experience with Mercedes was not pleasant…. Please keep in mind…..I had No engine light nor problems in the last 2 years…… About 2 months I had taken my Mercedes CLA45 Amg in for an A6 service, which cost me around $240 service basically for an oil change, tire rotation and topped off all fluids. I picked up my vehicle, my vehicle did not run correctly like I hadn’t gotten an oil change, nor was any courtesy vacuum done. I did not have time to check so I left. A few days later my coolant level low display, I didn’t think anything so I added more coolant. Not long after that, another display indicate “auxiliary battery malfunction” and “check engine light” came on. Right away I called Mercedes, the soonest appointment was 2 weeks out. I panic, afraid my car may shut down. I took it to a local place that is authorize to work on Mercedes and replace the auxiliary battery for $200. Check engine light is still on. I already had an appointment with Mercedes so I brought it for them to check the “ check engine light” I had a quarter of tank left when drop off, and I had all my belongings was inside my middle compartment. Mike the service representative, after diagnose, they told me that the “check engine” was due to other issue with my car there and it would be $7000 repair cost. Another diagnosis charge of $144. After I pick up the car, check engine was still on, gas they claim only use (36miles) for diagnosis, the tank was completely empty and there were cigars in my cup holder sleeves with my blue canister and fragrance spray bottle out. I didn’t take notice because I had to quickly take my car to the gas station since it was completely on empty.
I contact my service rep, Mike who kindly told me….
“The free courtesy wash and vacuum includes vacuuming the front floor mats only. They don't lift up the mats and vacuum underneath. We have on video the wash tech opening your door, finding the cigars between the door and the seat and placing them in your cup holder as he's vacuuming the front floors. You're welcome to stop in and watch that video if you would like. I'm not sure who put them there, but it wasn't us” --Mike Bowers Mercedes-Benz of Lancaster
As you can see in the pictures there was no vacuum done to the top layer mats and to my surprise my blue canister and fragrance (which were place in the middle compartment) was out in the cup holder sleeve with the two cigars pack, once again “I don’t smoke cigars” I don’t care for the courtesy car vacuuming and car wash because I only got half the service. I just wanted some accountability on their part but instead...
Read moreI’m very disappointed with Mercedes-Benz of Lancaster. Their new management team is not the greatest and their general manager is not customer oriented has no compassion of feelings for anybody but himself and is not about the customer. I’ve been dealing with Mercedes-Benz of Lancaster for a year now and I’ve always felt comfortable and like I was part of the family And just recently I was there for issues that were Going on with my vehicle that I bought there and somewhere addressed to somewhere or not I feel as though I was sold a car that Should’ve went to the auction And not was sold on their lot instead the salesman took advantage of me show me this car and I’ve had nothing but problems with the Since the first week I owned it, Mercedes has always been good to me and has always addressed the issues that we’re going on with the Vehicle this past time was nothing but a nightmare and stuff that was wrong with the car that I said for a year was wrong With the car, the issues finally came up for inspection instead of being addressed when I first bought the car So I decide to hopefully maybe trade it in which I was offered $12,000 Then when I paid for it a year ago, actually not even a year and the car only gets driven six months out of the year And then I was going to be put into a lease, which I was fine with But I just paid $700. An hour before picking out another car and I asked for my $700 to be Since they are getting the car back and I am losing all this money The general manager refused to do that we had a few words and he did not care that Going through some issues at the time by losing my wife from cancer and I was having a hard time at the moment And he still refused to give me my money back, and then he proceeded to tell me to leave the store That he he will never do business with me again and I am not welcome there I don’t know where this gentleman is from or how he was hired as a General manager to represent the Lancaster store he is not good for that store and I don’t see that store doing a lot of business as Working for them, and I will proceed to let everybody know the experience I had with him And how disappointed I am with this situation and now I will have to find another location to be able to bring my car to To get fixed because he made it very clear that I am not allowed back at that store So I will not be doing business with that store. I will not be buying another Mercedes from that store and I will be letting all my friends know not to Do business with...
Read moreI purchased a Mercedes E350 over 7 years ago. When I decided that I needed a second smaller car i went back to the dealership i can trust, Mercedes Benz of Lancaster. I bought a CPO GLA 250. I wasn't sure about a CUV so I took the car on an extended test drive. I ended up being gone for about an hour. The salesman or dealership didn't seem to mind and gave me a lot of latteatitude. I bought the car. The salesman was great, very professional. The finance office was wonderful and offered many different packages. A couple I purchased a couple I turned down. There was no high pressure, a refusal didn't turn into a pressure session. I walked out of the dealership with my "new" car in about an hour. Since my purchase I've had it in the service department for the instaaccessory installation of an accessory. I received the same service as always. This is my second car from them, the service and salrr es are impeccable. I have never worked with a car dealership and enjoyed it this much.
Over the last 7 years, I've taken my car to this dealer exclusively. Each time I've taken it in for service the quality and professionalism is same as when I purchased the car. This dealership is the only place that services my car. Prices are very fair and work is always completed the first time, which saves both time and money. As I consider a second car, I will only look at MB of Lancaster. Five stars!
Each time I am at the dealership I'm treated very well. Each visit is easygoing and the advisors always keep me informed as to timeline and process. Any work I have done, is completed to the highest degree. Work is completed correctly the first time and I find the pricing structure very reasonable.
The service techs are top notch as well. When was the last time a dealership advised against extra maintenance because it wasn't necessary and saved you over $600? That just happened to me.
I will always return. They have my business for life.
Today I had my e350 in for regular maintenance. The attention to detail is the same as if an intricate repair is being completed or a small A1 service. This is the only place I'll take my car. I trust them and I know that with their skill, my car will last a very long time. A few good visits to a dealer repair facility can be a matter of luck. I've taken my E class to Lancaster Mercedes since I purchased the car. One or two good visits can be luck. Quality sales, a great customer experience and top notch service over a span of 6 years is not luck, it's...
