Weis Markets — Local services in Manheim Township

I guarantee I will never be back to this store and I will tell anyone that listens about my experience with the lady at the deli (short dark, glasses) my husband and I were patiently waiting while she was putting stickers on the chicken. She very rudely said she'd be right with us. We were like ok no problem. When she finally came over she asked what we wanted I told her and she stormed in the back and came out a few seconds later saying that if it wasn't in the case then they don't have it.. I pointed out that it was right here in the front and she yelled I SEE IT MA'AM" at that point I had enough and told her to keep it and we'd go somewhere else. I was steaming at this point and contemplated just leaving my full cart sit and walk out but we had cold stuff and I didn't want things to spoil. I was looking around for a manager but didn't see one. I'm about the most patient person but I HATE rude people especially when it's unprovoked. I did end up telling the cashier who said this wasn't the first time people have said something about this lady and that she would let the manager know. UPDATE August 2023: Last year, I had an argument with one of the old staff that should have retired or been fired 10-15 years ago. The result was that I never go there. I choose to drive 5min further to the Fruitville Pike store which is larger and better stocked. Also, I shop at Giant, Oregon Dairy and Walmart more regularly than I did in the past. I avoid this store as much as possible. Original Review: I shop here all the time because of habit, I pass it daily, and it is adequate. BUT, the store was formerly a private business called ERB's. The quality of service began to drop as soon as WEIS bought the property. A big plunge in service has occurred over the years since the ERB's name was removed and the last of the former ERB staff have retire.

No one now knows the inventory. They are reluctant to assist. Sometimes seem annoyed about providing rain checks, etc. I basically just pick-up my stuff and expect nothing (including stocked shelfs) from the staff. It is sad how the place...

Please if you wake to avoid being treated badly by a 2nd shift customer service team member named Ann, don't ask her she is very miserable and takes her bad days out on people trying to buy groceries, my bad experience happened about an hour ago and even her male and female coworkers at the register agreed she isn't liked their I filed an complaint/incident report to their corporate office however if you seen a older lady with glasses named Ann this location she is rude and if you experience this please file a complaint because enough complaint will eventually get her held accountable by her boss, this is the definition of not caring for how her attitude affect others, why is she in customer service, anybody will a bad experience with her or that store...
