MSU Tech Store — Local services in East Lansing

The staff are polite and friendly, but the store itself is completely useless unless you want to buy a charger or overpriced laptop. They advertise online that they recycle electronics. When I went to recycle my old broken laptop, they said they couldn't help me and told me to go off-campus. They advertise online that they offer repair services. When I went to ask for repairs when my laptop screen got damaged, they said they couldn't help and to go off-campus. Not every student can easily get off-campus. The Tech Store is easy and convenient to get to, but the fact that they don't actually offer any services completely defeats the point of having a tech store on campus.

Tried to buy an adobe cc student license a couple weeks ago but they lost my purchase. I eventually was able to get a refund and upon trying to purchase another one I was told I needed a department account which not even the staff seemed to understand. Great convenience for students needing something same-day and/or not knowing a ton about computers and other technology......but otherwise you’ll save quite a bit of money by just shopping online and comparing prices.
