Revel Custom Wine Cellars — Local services in East Lansing

For our wine cellar we were looking for a beautiful design, timeless materials and functionality, and wanted to create a cellar suitable to preserve collectible wines for decades. Details like avoidance of vibration, avoidance of volatile organic solvents and careful temp/humidity control throughout the cellar space were all considered. Without getting into details let me summarize that aspects of our design/build requirements were challenging in order to meet all of our expectations. Jim Cash (founder) of Revel Custom Wine Cellars is A+ in every way. He was deeply engaged and was a fantastic thought partner throughout the design and build process. Jim was readily available for discussions with our contractors, architect and designers. He cared about delivering an excellent product, and his passion and customer-centric approach was shared by his whole team. Erin from Revel is great in customer service and the entire Revel team did an amazing job. We went with the Wine Guardian cooling/humidity system and the cellar came together beautifully. Superb customer service all around! Revel built us a custom cellar a few years ago and we love it. A couple of months ago, I noticed some flaws with some of the wheels on our "wine wheel". When I notified Jim, he immediately proceeded to have a new wheel built (at their expense) and paid for the cost of a technician to come to our house and replace the wheel (which was no small feat as it also required removing and reinstalling much of the trim in the whole cellar). As impressed as I have been with Jim and the rest of the Revel crew when I received my cellar, this customer service on the back end is beyond top notch. I really appreciate them going above and beyond to address this issue. I would give them 10 stars...

I couldn’t be more appreciative and delighted with Revel Custom Wine Cellars. For years I debated on the wine cellar of my dreams and after finding Revel it was a seamless experience from initial consultation through delivery and install. I had the refrigerated space but was lacking the storage furniture and racks. Today I’m happy with my 1,600 bottle count of beautiful racks. The whole system with their drawers and led lighting is fantastic. When friends come over they are marveled at the finished product.

From my point of view it could not have been easier nor more professional, their finishes and timing garner 5 stars!
