I am adding an update to this post to express my sincere appreciation for the apology I received from the manager. We now have a great working relationship and I recently bought a ring there. It was shipped to me promptly and safely with regular updates about its whereabouts and estimated arrival time. Thank you very much for taking the time to address my concerns and forge a new relationship.

Since that time, I used to love this store when Sharon owned it. She always had the most unusual earrings and was always pleasant and helpful. Now her daughter owns it and while her daughter is also very nice, she just doesn't have the really unique earrings I loved when I bought from Sharon. Still, I follow the store faithfully on Etsy and Facebook. I had seen something I liked on Facebook reels, which I wanted to buy and immediately messaged the store. (I am almost positive there was a "message us" notation, but I could be wrong). No response. Then when I went in the other day, to inquire, I mentioned that I had sent a message. "Oh, we don't answer FB messages and don't really use Facebook. We use Instagram ", said the employee. Two problems here: 1 If you aren't using FB, then why use it to advertise and, 2 Why do you have to deliver the message with such a condescending tone? This is not my first encounter with this particular employee and her tone and demeanor is very off-putting. I feel as though I am bothering her when I ask questions. I live out of state and would be happy to patronize the store online, but this employee"s treatment is a real turn-off for me. Don't assume that because I am older that I am unfamiliar...
