Walgreens — Local services in East Orange

I have really bad asthma. Last night I was having trouble breathing. I called Walgreens at about 11:30pm to see if my Nebulizer was ready for pick up. No one answered the phone. I called about 5 times then got out of bed and went to the drive through. I rang the bell numerous times no one came to the window. I went to the parking lot where there were only 2 cars parked. I got inside the store only had one couple in there. When I got to the pharmacy the pharmacist was there. I explained to him I had asthma and was having difficulties breathing and I was calling why didn’t he answer the phone. He said no one was there to answer the phone. I said I came to the window u didn’t come to the window. He said no one was there to come. I asked him for my Nebulizer machine and he said it wasn’t in stock. I explained to him that I kept calling and if I knew the machine wasn’t in stock I would have went to the ER instead of coming to Walgreens. He didn’t care, he was terrible. He does not care about the community that he works in. Before I left I doubled back to the drive through to get his name Semiu Durowoju. The next morning, I decided to move all of my prescriptions from Walgreens in East Orange to another location. Terrible customer service and the pharmacist Semiu Durowoju does not care about patients or customers. I will also call customer service to make a verbal and written complaint about...

I dropped prescriptions off on 9/13/2024 I can back to drop off another on 9/23/2024 and two of the three I dropped off were not ready and I never received a text. They told me my number wasn’t in the system. Yet my number was in the system when I dropped them off. They even sent me a code to verify it was me. I came back today 9/26/24 and they tell me the doctor didn’t specify the dosage and I would have to call the doctor. I was like nobody called to tell me? Yall had the prescriptions all these days and no one called the doctor?? I asked for my prescriptions back now they can’t find it. Yet the pharmacy called the doctor in front of me to get the dosage!!! They told me it’ll take 5 minutes only 13 minutes ago!!!! I’m soooo done with this location!! It’s gone to hell!!! This is why businesses lose out to other businesses because of the sorry shotty work by employees that don’t give a crap!! My name is Kenney Cattenhead and I approve...

This Walgreens is by far the worst I’ve ever been to. They never answer the phone, the printer is always broken or out of paper, and when it does work, they somehow still don’t have what’s needed. The staff is consistently rude and unprofessional, and there’s never a manager around when you need one.

It’s disappointing because so many people are looking for jobs, yet the employees here take theirs for granted. They don’t seem to realize that if customers stop shopping here, they’ll be out of a job. They need to take their roles seriously, treat all customers with respect, and maintain a professional attitude. This is a workplace, not a hangout spot—customers shouldn’t have to deal with street slang and unprofessional behavior while trying to shop.
