My mother has been a client of Michael's for three generations of shop dogs. When I suffered a Covid-related stroke and moved from Maryland to my parents' in Easton, my mom got me set up for a cut and color with Courtney. She is not only one of the sweetest humans I've ever met and very considerate about my mobility limitations, but she's a genius at her craft! I give her almost no direction and prefer to let her be as creative as she wants to be with colors. I get compliments from random strangers all the time! Often when I've done nothing with my hair other than wash and comb it (that's the mark of an ideal cut right there). I applaud their COVID precautions. (If my employer had been as cautious, I be in much better health.) I spent my last visit cuddling with both dogs while my color processed. Gary and Michael humor me because I come prepared to do dog training with the newest addition whether they like it or not (I'm a vet and a service dog trainer). I have been a client of The Strand for the last 17 years. My hair has been long, short, brown, blonde and everything in between (all my choice, of course!!!) and I have never been disappointed. I am always warmly greeted by Gary, Michael, Courtney or Josh and offered a drink or sweet treat as I wait for my appointment (which is NEVER more than 5-8 minutes). The shop is clean and very welcoming. At the start of every appointment, Michael, my stylist always asks what I would like done, and then will offer suggestions about how to achieve the look I am going for. He is ALWAYS "spot on" when it comes to my hair cut and color. Tried setting up an apt when I originally called, not one person returned my call. I called back a week or so later and got someone right away and set it up for this past Saturday. I got a call the morning of my apt that the hair stylist was sick and had to reschedule so I set it up for today. I now had to reschedule todays apt because of extenuating circumstances on my end and was told I was changing the apt too much that I couldn’t reschedule. I could only call day of and I was flabbergasted. I went to explain that they are the ones who had to reschedule my original apt, the guy hung up on me.
