EDITED MARCH 17TH 2025 EXCELLENT SERVICE, TASTY FOOD THE PEACH BELLINI ICED TEA NEVER FAILS.

EDITED Nove 14th 2024 EXCELLENT CUSTOMER FROM BEGINNING TILL END. My waitress refilled my drinks before asking before I could ask for refilling soup I had it I had bred before I needed it she bought me carry-outs without me asking a bag and my drink to go. She remember what I told her when I sat down. I told her for sure I wanted two soup, extra breadsticks, and I wanted a refill to go. 5 star on EVERYTHING A personality was very pleasant and inviting.

EDITED DEC 17, 2023 I I ordered the same soup again only this time it was much better customer service it took about 15 minutes to get but they were crowded. This particular visit was a 8 out of 10.

So I went to the Olive Garden actually a few days ago. Walked into carryout and I wanted the soup with the kale and potatoes and sausage I can't think of the name. It's my favorite soup and every time I go to this Olive Garden it's always perfect it's a favorite of mine.

I stood there while people scurried around never even acknowledged me with the hello and I'll be right with you for about 2-3 min. After 3 minutes I asked a young black man who was a server, Is this where I stand to get carryout. My reasoning for asking was because sometimes you order at the bar. I was standing by a sign that said something like carry out pick up. And I could have been mistakenly in a spot that was strictly picking up carryout and not placing orders Therefore I asked to be sure.

He looked at me and pointed up at the sign and said that's what the sign say.

I immediately CHECKED him and told him that that was a UNPROFESSIONAL answer and I said I was asking because nobody over here has acknowledged me and I was making sure. Then he just stood there look stupid and a manger perhaps, a white woman said I apologize how can I help you.

The whole experience was a complete turn off. I understand things are extremely busy but simply acknowledging your customer and letting them know I'll be with you shortly my apologies for the wait can go a long way with customer service.

Having your staff speak to you with a smart flipping mouth can get them cussed out almost immediately and then both of us is in the wrong. However I didn't get vulger but yes I had a attitude.

Another disappointment was I got home only to find that my soup was mostly broth and itty bitty bits of potatoes barely any sausage and a little bit of kale it was like they scraped the bottom of the pan. I paid for the broth. I'm still PISSED about it. I was tired I didn't have the energy to go back and I just said forget it. Cause one, I didn't feel argument with the staff and I knew they wouldn't replace my soup they were probably tell me I ate it.

I would have did this review the day that it happened but again I was tired. I had worked, wasn't feeling good and I've always gotten excellent service and soup from them so I thought I would end my night having some delicious soup and that didn't happen. So I'm leaving my review today.

To to management please teach your staff to watch their mouth and always stay professional and teach the rest of your staff to acknowledge anyone that comes and stand up in front of them even if it's to tell them just to wait a minute. It's rude to not acknowledge anyone while they're standing there staring at you in the face.

Lastly if you guys are out of soup just say that. I would of got something else. Always imagine would you serve it to yourself.

Hopefully my next visit will be different and I can give a...

Today was the worst experience I had and I won't be back. I usually don't have a problem and have always loved olive garden. The last 2 times at this location I had issues. Last time it took an hour to get my drink but I didn't complain. This time though was unnaceptable. My server was great but the manager not so much. I ordered the endless soup, salad, and breadsticks. So did my cousin. I'm currently pregnant and while eating my first and only bowl of soup I found a long string of plastic like the type that holds a new pair of socks together or maybe from like a cleaning brush. I let the manager know and she took the plastic from me. She offered to take off the apatizer but since I wasn't going to finish my soup or even consider ordering a second bowl, I asked if she would just take the never ending soup meal off since the soup meal was the issue and not the appetizer. I also asked about taking off my cousins soup meal since she only took 2 bites of her soup before she got freaked out by the plastic we found in my bowl. The manager got mad that I even asked and didn't want to be bothered and walked away in the middle of me explaining and asking. She took the soup meals off but added back on 2 salads when I didn't even eat any salad. She cared more about money and pinching pennies than the service, health, safety, and quality of food. I've never been so disappointed and let down. $60 for 2 meals we didn't even get to eat, 3 drinks and an app. This was 12/02/24 between 4:30-6pm. I made sure to leave my server a decent tip since it wasn't her fault but I feel terrible that the manager would leave her in such a terrible position. My server was more concerned than the manager was. Sadly I won't be back to this location. I rather make the drive somewhere else to receiver better service and make sure I don't choke on plastic while...

Today was my first experience at this location. I usually go to the one in Dearborn but happened to be on this side of town. I placed my order thru carside at 3:58 and was told that my order would be ready at 5:10. The weather was rainy and windy so I decided to wait.

I paid for my order at 5. At 5:25 I called to see why it hadn't come out. Ashley informed me that the "kitchen" was running behind. A car pulled into the spot next to me and received their order at 5:35. I called and spoke to Ashley again and asked how much longer would take. She replied it would be right out.

Another order was brought out to the car next to me again, so I rolled down my window and asked the employee where was my order. She said it was on the way out before asking for the name on the order. I told her the time it was suppose to be ready. She asked if I still wanted it. Are you kidding me? My order totaled 39.00 and I added a 10 % tip. Yes I want my food. She states she'll check on it. 2 minutes later a guy comes out with my order. He was very nice and apologized. He stated that the manager made a adjustment on my bill for the inconvenience.

That's not completely true. The manager deducted the tip I added. All in all I waited 38 additional minutes from the time my order was suppose to be ready til it was actually delivered.

The food was cold (surprise) but the quality was good. I don't think I'll be back to this location, unless I place my carside order 2 hours before I actually need it.

As a point of reference, my order was spaghetti and meatballs with extra sauce, shrimp Alfredo and 2 salads...

Today is my daughter's graduation and we came here afterwards. We had a party of 18 and i must say this is not the first time I have went to Olive Garden with a large party but this is the first time at this location with a larger party. The one nice thing I can say was the manager saw the food that was presented and understood my concerns. The waitresses attitudes were terrible or maybe they were just inexperienced, nevertheless it was a terrible experience. It took over an hour for hour food to come out which I charged that part to it being 18 of us but like I said, maybe they have never had a party that large because thats the perception I received from the waitresses and attitudes which is unacceptable. Everyone's food was crunchy and set, meaning you couldn't even stir it because of how long it was sitting before it was presented to us. I will never visit this location again but I do appreciate the manager and him admitting that the food should have never been brought to the table in that condition. It doesnt negate the fact that my family was not able to have the celebratory dinner for my daughter and her accomplishment which is the tragedy in all this and I hope no one has to endure this at this location. This incident needs to be used for a training opportunity, honestly!

Olive Garden in Eastpointe: A Trip Back to the 1990s (Not in a Good Way) Our recent visit to the Olive Garden in Eastpointe left us feeling a bit disappointed. Walking in, it was like stepping into a time capsule—the interior looks like it hasn’t been updated since the late 1990s. The atmosphere was outdated, and there was a faint musty smell that didn’t help the experience. The food was…fine, but that’s about it. I ordered the chicken Alfredo, and while it was edible, it lacked flavor and tasted more like heavy whipping cream than Alfredo sauce. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either—just low-quality and uninspired, like corporate food slapped on a plate. The menu itself feels just as outdated as the decor, offering nothing fresh or exciting to bring customers back. What saved the visit was our waitress. She was absolutely amazing—kind, attentive, and patient. If I ever returned, it would be in hopes of having her as my server again. It’s unfortunate that such great service is paired with such lackluster food. Overall, this Olive Garden feels stuck in the past, both in terms of the menu and the dining environment. The food isn’t terrible, but it feels like it’s lost the heart it used to have. Three stars for the excellent service, but sadly, the rest falls short.

My girl and I order from this Olive Garden somewhat frequently and USUALLY receive good service. we always order pickup and the food comes out no later than 5-10 minutes of us sitting in the to-go parking spot. However, today we pulled into the parking spot as usual and notified the restaurant of our arrival, then waited for around 20 minutes or so before calling to notify the staff directly, to which we were told our order would be "right out". We wait another 5-7 minutes before deciding to just go inside to get the order, which it seems like was ready the ENTIRE time because the worker simply grabbed the bag from the back. So I'm not sure if it was made in a hurry or they simply microwaved our food, but it didn't taste as fresh as usual so i assume the latter. To top it all off, on the $50+ order, they still got one of the items wrong, as i ordered a Chicken + Shrimp Carbonara but received only a Shrimp Carbonara. AND this all happened to me on my birthday so it especially upset me :( and the workers apologized but did not seem genuinely sorry. like i said we come here often but tonight was just a bad experience genuinely and to have it happen on an especially expensive order for a special night was more infuriating
