Harbor Freight — Local services in Eatontown

We are from Cherry Hill, NJ where there is a major electrical outage. I have called many Harbor Freight store all over NJ to find a Generator big enough and everyone has been helpful until I spoke with MIKE for the Eatontown (Store #537). He was rude, confrontational and Annoyed that I asked him to look if they have ANY generators 6500 watts or more. He told me I would have to come in the store and look. I explained we are 2 hrs away and didn't want to come all that way if they didn't have one. He REFUSED to look unless I had an item number. When I got the Item number he was annoyed and huffed that he actually had to go look. When he finally let me know they DID have one left he got angry that i ask my boss, who was standing in front of me, if he wanted it to be held, he told me "COME ON ARE YOU KIDDING ME"... I understand you are busy, but MIKE should not be in customer service AT ALL and because of his arrogant, abrupt and ill Mannered service, you lost a large sale and I'm sure you have lost more then just my sale if this is the manner that you treat...

Harbor Freight Tools is a good place to buy tools if you don't need it anymore. Although Harbor Freight Tools do have some quality items it just depends upon what you buy. Anything in there flyers or the magazines that the offer for free their tarps, and everything else is garbage! Some of their impact sockets I have to say is top-notch Chinese metal and lasts. I'd rated it near Snap-on quality due to the durability, it just doesn't last as long! They are guaranteed for life so replacement is not an issue. It's hell of a lot cheaper than Snap-on prices. I was today at eatontown nj store rt 36 ! I bouhgt a air conditioner maniful set 8 months ago ! Si today I went to used and 1 of the parts it was broken ! I went to even exchanged ! And the cashier and manager at the store told me I cant do that ! Of course I got mad ! I explained at the manager ! The part it was defected ! And told me buy another one because is not there fault !whats wrong whit this guy ! Just letting you know guys ! I hope corporate select better people and train them to be more profesional !
