We rented our groomsman/groom outfits from Men's Wearhouse in Eau Claire for our wedding. The process of getting things picked out went smoothly. We did make a change in the vest and shoe color early on from brown and plum to black and charcoal which was easy to do. We also decided to go with a jean for our guys and got a locked in price for those to be purchased. About 2 weeks before the wedding we had a groomsman back out. His suit had been paid for already but would not fit the guy we had filling in for him so I called to make sure that 2 weeks would be enough time to get his outfit. I told them then that we would not be needing his outfit and they did not have to get that together. They made sure they said the correct name and I responded yes. They had said that was not going to be an issue. I gave the new guy our group numbers (jeans had a different number than the rest) and he went the next day to get fitted. That was a quick process. They did not have the jeans in his size so they said that they would order them and they could be paid for when they were picked up. I had called our new groomsman to make sure he had his jeans two days before the wedding, and he said no. We then called Mens Wearhouse and asked if they were there, which was when we found out they never got ordered. They said they could order them now, and might be able to get them by Saturday. I picked up the rest of the men's outfits the afternoon before and had all of them tried on the night before. Thankfully we were planning on the guys rolling their sleeves, because our best man's sleeves were so long that when they were buttoned, he looked like he was a pirate becuase it was so baggy. His shoes were also not a Wide like was ordered. The groom had the wrong color of socks. We ended up with the guys outfit who was no longer in the wedding. One of the shirts was very tight on the neck. Overall, I feel they should re-teach how to properly measure people to get...
Read moreMy husband and I used Men’s Wearhouse for our wedding because we have groomsmen in different states and wanted it to be easy and convenient for them. When we originally chose the suit, we went with a basic black suit rental with no vest since it would already be hot at the time of our wedding. The sales person told us as long we have 5 people renting a suit (we had 9), we were eligible for a promotion that would give all groomsmen a discount and my husband would get a full refund on his suit rental as long as it was returned with no damage. When my husband and all of his groomsmen went to pick up their suits, my husbands looked and fit great. However, my mother in law called me and let me know the shirts that they received were white although we ordered ivory. It turns out all of the groomsmen received the wrong color shirt and they all received and were charged for a vest as well. Some of the shirts that they received were either the wrong size or came very dirty. All of the correct shirts and sizes had to be shipped overnight and picked up the next morning and given to all of the groomsmen immediately to make sure they fit. One of the groomsmen had to go in a total of 4 times because they completely messed up the sizing on his suit. The last time he went in, he had to wait for the employee to take the hem out of his pants so they would fit better. During this process, I had asked about the promotion but the employee did not know how to answer so he said he would have the manager call. After a week, I did not hear anything so I went into the store and addressed it in person. The manager, Ian, gave each groomsmen a refund for the vests we didn’t want as well as honored the promo we were initially promised. Overall, my experience with Men’s Wearhouse was not great and I would recommend going with a different company if...
Read moreI waited a while after my wedding until I calmed down about this issue before writing about it. I don't normally write bad reviews for a company, but I was extremely upset with the tuxes that the guys from our wedding ordered from men's warehouse. Maybe about 4 out of the 10 actually got the measurements correct on the first try. We were going back multiple times the couple days before the wedding and it was a huge inconvenience. Each of the guys was measured beforehand and it still was incorrect. And I'm not talking just pants length being wrong because they can adjust that on the spot. I'm talking about wrong size jackets, things being super wrinkled and the groom's pants had to be zip tied on because the clips on the side would not hold. When we went to go pick up the groom's tux, the jacket and vest were the wrong size and the pants were about mid calf in length. They tried to keep me from noticing how wrinkled it was and when I did I asked if they could steam it again, since it is important for the groom to look his best. I got an eye roll from the employee. He went and did it and ordered a new jacket for the groom, but the attitude was ridiculous. Then, one of the groomsmen had to go in 3 separate times for a new jacket because it never fit! If our wedding hadn't been at least 45 minutes from Eau Claire, it probably wouldn't have been an issue. But for them to get it wrong 3 times! We even had to wait until they opened the day of the wedding to go and get the last jacket. Their service was terrible and they knew what issues we had and never offered any sort of compensation. We will never be going back to men's warehouse and we will let any couple getting married soon know that they should take their...
