I have very mixed feelings writing this review as I am a big fan of Chipotle however this location has taught me to lower my expectations time and time again. I will be ignoring the "inconsistent portions" to keep simplicity as this is a well known problem. For starters, the cross contamination is a constant issue. I couldn't possibly count how many times I've gotten a burrito or bowl with an ingredient I never ordered. Whether its corn, fajita veggies, or lettuce it seems to always find its way into my food. (Especially the corn.) I have no allergies however its hard not to get disappointed whenever I find a green pepper the size of my finger laying in my bowl. In addition to poor diligence, I have been left to wonder where my sides keep disappearing to. I have had several occurrences where I've had to swiftly pick up my order and bring it to work to find my sides missing chips, sauces, ect. While my final notes I must admit are quite "nitpicky" and these could be chalked up to coincidences, but over the past few months the cilantro in the rice has been getting bigger and bigger. I swear they're not even cutting it anymore and its nearly whole cilantro leaves & stems. My partner typically orders without cilantro to avoid this issue just to be talked to like she asked them to make her a burger. I want to leave this on good note so I will add the employees in person are very nice and approachable whenever plain white rice...
Read moreThis place is absolutely filthy. On my recent visit every single surface was dirty; grill, floor, cashiers counter, all tables had food on them. The hot plate for cooking was covered in black burnt food. Employees were mixed the spoons for toppings, and flinging whatever they spilled onto the floor. The floors in the back were covered in food and liquids. The ceiling is covered in dust and grease. The corners of floors and based on tables had built up bits of food. The food was okay. I pasted on fajitas because they were burned and overcooked. They were out of sour cream, so instead of going and getting more for me they scrapped the tin and gave me just a dollop. Hardly any chicken in my bowl and the lettuce was not the freshest. I asked for black beans but got both because the employees were rushing and ended up mixed the beans and putting sour cream in the corn. There wasn't really any service, it was more of what you want...next, typical of the Midwest now. I'm hoping to contact the manager Joey to let him know because Chipotle corporate doesn't seem to care about feedback. The links posted by the owner to reviewers are not valid. And nothing has changed in the past year, still filthy...
Read moreDecent enough food, but an awful atmosphere for anyone with social anxiety. I really don't come to chipotle because of the cilantro in the rice (cilantro tastes like soap gene is strong for me) The music was loud and echoed to the point where the person making the food and I had to repeat ourselves, and the workers all seemed pretty burnt out for the day which is totally understandable. When I went to check out they just gave me my burrito, wrapped in tin foil, no bag or napkins or anything and set it right on the awkward spot in the counter where I wasn't sure if I was supposed to reach for it or if they were gonna grab it for a to go bag or to grab a napkin for me, but after a solid 35 seconds of awkwardly standing there I just grabbed it and went. I even tried to make just a small compliment to the girl making my food but she just spoke over me and rushed me which again, long day, I came in probably when they were getting ready to close (just before 8pm) and it's understandable but that combined with the jarring music and the checkout it left me feeling like I think I might just do taco bell next time. Food...
